I feel this is an underrated restaurant cafe. The staff are very friendly and kind, especially the front of house female staff worker. They are serving classic South Asian cuisine and have a great location and space! I got the makhani and momos. Would recommend.

The food here is either fresh, flavorful, and delicious… or, bland and dry depending on the day. I love the food when done right, it’s one of my favorite places to go eat or order delivery. However I don’t recommend ordering on Sunday evenings, the food is not good or fresh. EDIT: Dropped the rating to 1 star. Ordered lamb biryani on a Sunday evening, and there was a literal rock inside the meal. Found out the hard way by biting into it.

The food is good, the servers are super kind and accommodating. It just happens to look like a counter joint or takeout place so it’s not the coziest place to go for a dinner where you’re sitting down. They should revive the look of the place if they want to keep those Cambridge prices.

Our experience was great up until the entree’s. I ordered the Chicken Korma and after the first bite could tell the taste was off. I unfortunately wasn’t able to finish the rest of my meal as within about 20 minutes I had to run to bathroom to throw up. We soon left afterwards after paying and I continued to throw up afterwards.The service was good and attentive but the main meal did not meet my expectations.

One of the very best restaurants Cambridge has to offer. Food is always flavorful and delicious (some of my favorite tikka masala out there, and the aloo naan is not to be missed), a great value, and always friendly and helpful service. Great for takeout or for dining in.

The food was great but the service was very unprofessional. We ordered chicken momo, alo tama, khaja set, papdi chat and chicken choila which was all amazing. Everything was going great until we were half way through our meal. A serving staff who was a girl probably in her twenties, asked us to wrap it up in the next 5 minutes because other customers needed the table. We were taken aback but told that we will try wrap it up in 10 minutes or to. To that she cringed and left which honestly ruined our entire experience. Thus 2 stars.

Delicious tandoori momo, lamb biryani, and other Himalayan food
I have been eating at this cafe frequently. I love the no-frill atmosphere with some awesome food. I love their steamed momos, chowmein. Also the chicken tikka masala, naans and the mango lassis are yum. It's simple food without the fuss and a local go to for a good quick meal. The serving staff is also very courteous and kind.

Great food! I was really impressed by the tandoori chicken. Very high quality with an excellent flavor. The food was very spicy, which I love.
My only suggestion is that they might want to put a ceiling fan in the restaurant so there is more air circulation. It would have been nice to have a little cooling breeze to go with the spicy food 😉

Such a wonderful find. Ample vegetarian options. Flavorful dishes, excellent naan, and good portions. Dining in isn’t the most pleasant of atmospheres, but it’s clean and bright and the people were friendly. Go to order out spot now. Definitely better than some other more hyped up spots in Inman Square………
