Gas. Tastes like melted chocolate.
Met a friend for hot chocolate on a snowy Monday night and enjoyed the coziness of conversation. Inside is really cute, you feel like you've stepped into Europe. They feature lots of Swiss treats and there's something everyone would like.
I ordered a milk chocolate hot chocolate and my friend got a dark chocolate. The drinks are rich and super smooth. I always need a little water which luckily they have a pitcher with little cups. We then split two treats, the Engadiner Nusstorte and Cherry Tart. Both were delicious, and they complimented the drinks nicely, especially the Cherry adding that contrasting tartness to a sweet beverage. The gentleman working was also nice he cut the treats in half for us to split.
I was shocked how busy it was, at most points there wasn't a free table inside, as people come here to chat and enjoy. It was the perfect place to meet a friend and l'd come back for sure.
This is probably the best place on earth to ever have a hot chocolate. I’ve been to all three of their locations and it never disappoints. I’m a big fan of the Peruvian single source. But expect to pay around $20 for two hot chocolates and beware that it’s $1.25 up charge for a dairy free milk option.
Beautiful curated selection of exquisite chocolates. The hot chocolate is delicious, decadent and warming ... perfect pre-date night experience :)
Love the hot chocolate drink, and chocolate boxes here.
I am not a hot chocolate person, and I wouldn’t say I’m qualified to rate pastries. However, this place really surprised me. It’s not like the hot chocolate I have had before. It is rich and creamy, the 85% is the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. We also brought pastries to a friend’s home and we couldn’t say enough good things. It’s worth the trip.
Great chocolate along with fun items like their famous chocolate mice. They had penguins and snowmen.
So pretty
More than a classic... first time I went there was 23 years ago... the place still manages to draw me in... chocolate and coffee continue to be superb and the atmosphere is awesome!
Beautiful place, employees are very kind.

Genuine chocolate in the hot chocolate the taste is very thick. Definitely the most flavorful hot chocolate I've had but may be a bit heavy for some people. Bit pricey but makes sense since they're using genuine chocolate
The dark hit chocolate was out of this world. Like sipping melted chocolate.
Very, very good coffee and cake. But OMG are they expensive!! 8$ for a small slice of cake, 7$ for coffee. Ouch. But...done very well. Selection not very great, lots of chocolates all over. WC in the back, no code, very nice (clean, bright, smells nice...a rare thing in the city). Service a bit testy but swift. Seating mostly bad, wood benches, oddly facing out, quite uncomfortable. Some tables, but definitely not enough. Consider this a treat, once in a lifetime-ish thing. Compared to the coffee quality around Cambridge, this place is clearly leader. But wow, bring a big bag of money.
Very few places have hot dark chocolate option and I loved it here. Very nice and cozy place so can be very busy during winter evening.
This is a must-try experience for any chocolate lover. L.A. Burdick crafts what might be the world's best hot chocolate—rich, velvety, and intensely flavored. It truly deserves the hype.
The only venue and its extremely limited seating.
