Thank you Lamplighter team, especially Riley and Hunter, for making our welcome event a smashing success. The venue was so cool and the perfect size for our party of 60, and they made sure we had everything we needed. They both were right there with me creating signage, labeling pizza boxes, wiring the AV for our Spotify playlist, slide shows and video. They even organized our things at the end of the night to make it easy to pack out . To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. And of course, the beer. The selection was incredible! Everyone had a great time, especially the bride and groom!

I am giving this brewery only 4 stars because I a time where non-alcoholic drinks are blossoming, they do not produce their own, so if you want to have a N/A beer you must buy a Athletic, that is not a bad one, but it is just a different feeling.

Gabby and Joe were excellent work great conversation and even better beer recommendations for myself and the patrons that came in after me. I've been to the original location and I'm so happy this one was even closer to my hotel. Cheers!

Longtime patrons of Lamplighter, we were really disappointed to be repeatedly ghosted by the establishment when attempting to plan a private event. Multiple written inquiries and phone calls were placed to no avail. Not sure what the general management/event coordinator of the CX location is up to, but caring about revenue generation apparently isn’t one of them. We won’t be back, and we won’t be referring any others in future.

Some of the best beer around in the Boston/Cambridge area! David S. Pumpkins is absolutely killer! The barrel aged sours are a must try too!

Lamplighter is the best place to have a relaxing evening! The beer is great, the environment is inclusive and chill, and the games keep the fun happening. Love lamplighter!

We went to Lamplighter in Cambridge for their Oktoberfest, and it was such a fantastic experience. There was a $10 cover charge, but we didn’t mind at all because they gave us a free German stein, which was not only a fun touch but also really good quality. The entire space was beautifully decked out in Oktoberfest theme, which added to the festive vibe.
They had a great variety of beers on tap. I tried the Honey Wheat, which was crisp and refreshing, and later I had pumpkin ale. My partner went for the Oktoberfest and a sour ale, both of which he really enjoyed as well. We grabbed seats on the patio, which was absolutely perfect for a breezy fall night, made even better with fairy lights strung all around.
They also had a small food stall with German classics. We tried the bratwursts—one pork and one chicken—along with a potato salad. Everything was delicious, and the food was very pocket-friendly, around $10 each. The beers were $8 apiece, so between the two of us having two beers each and plenty of food to feel full, our total was only about $70. That’s an excellent deal for Boston or Cambridge prices.
All in all, I’d definitely come back here, especially in the fall, because the patio atmosphere is unbeatable.

Really disappointed there are no GF options for beer or seltzer here. I understand that the city may have different licensing requirements for beverages other than beer, but smaller establishments than Lamplighter have obtained the necessary licensing and added options to their menu (Remnant Brewing comes to mind).
