AVOID this place at all costs.
I seldom write poor reviews; however, I was looking forward to this place, and most of the reviews for this restaurant are extremely misleading.
Be wary, they randomly remove customers from their online waitlist system without reason, fortunately the waitress was able to seat us at the next available table after learning about the situation. No big deal here.
Water cups were dirty, and servers make an effort to refill water in rounds of 15-20 minutes. Cups sit empty at most tables for most of the time. When they do refill water, the servers grab the cup by the top of the cup—not very hygienic.
Small plates came out quickly, but a bowl of noodles took ~30-45 minutes… not the end of the world but many customers sat empty handed waiting for noodle soups. This does err on the longer side, especially for a noodle joint.
When the chef/server brought out noodles (that weren’t soup based), his thumb was in the bowl adjacent to the dish itself. Again, not hygienic at all.
The marinated egg wasn’t marinated at all. A poor excuse for a Chinese tea egg. Be ready to pay $1.50 for a hard boiled egg.
The noodles weren’t very good. Extremely gamey and the soup lacked flavor. I’d argue that instant Lanzhou noodles are better than what this restaurant served. Again a poor excuse for Lanzhou Noodles.
Finally to top it all off, they brought the check 3 minutes after bringing out the food. Normally I wouldn’t mind but if you bring out the check so early, ensure your food is good enough to back that statement.
Don’t come here, there are better places in the area.

After about 1.5 hours of waiting, we got in. Ordered a few dishes, I found everything pretty mediocre. Price is good, portion is good, service was decent. Hand pulled noodles, but I don’t think they pull the noodles in house, didn’t taste fresh. Stir fried noodles with chicken was disappointing, I think Lo Mein at local Chinese restaurants taste better.

Mediocre at best. No spaces between tables with everyone squeezed in, and the portion was very small for a $17 meal. The meats were overcooked with 0 flavor.

Stir fried noodles with tofu were unbelievably delicious! Wood ear mushrooms and lamb shank noodles were also delicious. Definitely get the stir fried noodles if you’re coming here.

Great experience. Everything was excellent. Unfortunately we just sat by the door and it was a bit chilly. Food so tasty. Service top class. Great experience.

Everything was excellent. Especially the chicken topped noodles and the braised beef noddle soup. They were my absolute favorites

Recommended dishes: Beef Soup
A noodle shop that fell short of expectations. I ordered the $20 lamb noodle soup, but the broth was oddly seasoned and extremely salty—and that’s coming from someone who usually enjoys bold, spicy flavors.
The soup had tomato and onion, but there was also an unnatural sourness that really threw off the balance. I couldn’t finish the bowl.
For the price, this was well below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The noodles taste almost undercooked? Soup isn’t hot and the beef was way too hard. Had high hopes for this place, but was disappointing.

Cozy noodle spot, i enjoyed the milk tea with the noodles. Wasn’t as spicy as labeled, but they provide chili oil.

We ordered the Lanzhou beef noodle soup, crispy mushrooms, fried okra, and chicken skewers. The noodles and beef were good but the broth was slightly bland. The mushrooms were the highlight— highly addictive and well seasoned. The okra was decent, but a little too bready. The chicken was also well seasoned and tasty, though perhaps a little dry.

This place is well understaffed for a busy day and the staff are rude and inattentive. People are waiting well over an hour for their food. Meanwhile I peak into the kitchen and see a chef just hanging out and smoking a vape LOL

$20+ for a bowl of braised beef noodles, and I even paid an extra $5 for “extra meat” — still barely any beef. If you’re an adult, you’d probably need two bowls to feel full.
Waited 35 minutes just for a very average bowl of noodles, and before I even finished eating, the check was already dropped on my table — basically telling me to leave. Total dine-in time: 9 minutes before getting rushed out.
The food was mediocre, the service felt pushy, and the experience overall was disappointing. Definitely not worth the price.

What really pains me here is that the food was actually pretty decent but the service was so atrocious that I would never eat here again — at least not in person.
My friend and I ordered food and then sat for 35 minutes until his food came, and then for another 15 until mine came. Waiting nearly a full hour for a decent (not by any means mindblowingly good) bowl of noodles is frankly ridiculous. By the time my food came, my friend’s food was cold and after waiting so long and being so frustrated with the wait — we’d both lost our appetite. At that point? Why even go with someone else if you’re practically eating at two different meals?
What’s even crazier is that when my food was finally brought out after nearly an hour, it didn’t come with the sides that I ordered as part of their lunch special deal. And they still tried to charge us for it! I had to ask for the check to be corrected.
I ordered the Lanzhou Beef Noodles with extra meat and extra noodles, and when the extra noodles came, there were noodles hanging out the bowl and were left just touching the table after it was served.
I wouldn’t come back here in person. Try online! The food was decent enough and during our hour waiting for the food, and sharing looks of mutual commiseration with everyone else also waiting the same amount we were, we watched many a take-out/delivery app order go out the kitchen and out the door. You’ll get served faster ordering out than you will in person.
