Owner was very nice and the ice cream was lovely but the real kicker was having wipe packets. 10/10

In a city with so many well regarded ice creameries, Lizzy’s deserves way more credit than it gets. The ginger flavor here is absolutely incredible (one of the best scoops in the city IMO), and pairs amazingly with the chocolate orgy or Colombian fudge avalanche (both well worth eating on their own).

Lunch at Singh Dhaba was amazing—super flavorful paneer tikka and fresh naan. Right after, we treated ourselves at Lizzy’s Ice Cream just around the corner. The perfect way to balance the spice with something sweet. Loved this little food adventure in Cambridge!

I’ve been a loyal customer at Izzy’s Ice Cream in Harvard Square for quite some time, regularly making the trip from Braintree just for their ginger flavor. So when my husband was craving butter pecan, I called ahead to confirm they had it. They said yes, so I drove all the way over and spent $32 (plus tip) on four pints.
After purchasing, I simply asked the employee for a tiny sample spoon so my daughter could try her ice cream in the car. To my shock, he told me he could sell me a spoon but would not give me one. When I explained that I’ve always been given a sample spoon when trying new flavors, he insisted that I should’ve asked to sample before buying. I responded, “Should I return the ice cream, sample it, and buy it again then?”—clearly frustrated and confused.
Instead of understanding, he accused me of being an “antagonist” and said he would have to refuse my business. All over a plastic spoon—AFTER I spent over $30. I reminded him I come in weekly, and he sarcastically said, “Well if you come here all the time, how come you didn’t know we had pecan flavor?”
Excuse me?? That comment was rude, petty, and completely uncalled for. What kind of business treats a regular customer like this? It’s like going to a restaurant, ordering a meal, and being told you can’t have a fork unless you ask for one first.
This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be speaking to a manager and I will NEVER spend another penny here. Disrespectful, unprofessional, and flat-out ridiculous. I will never come here again and spend another dollar.

need everyone to know that i'm a fiend for getting ice cream and as a camberville girly i have tried many many ice cream shops in the area, and lizzy's.... really is the best!!!! if i could have mint oreo or the cookie dough with a chocolate ice cream base in a waffle cone everyday for the rest of my life i WOULD!!! thank you

This is a great ice cream restaurant located close to Harvard Station. For those who like dark chocolate, I highly recommend the Chocolate Orgy flavor. The Small size is also larger than expected, and you can choose from two flavors.

I came with my friend to accompany her for a quick ice cream run. I was t expecting to eat any but couldn’t help but try the cinnamon flavor and WOW. It was so good and everything I wanted and more. So happy I tried Lizzy’s out— the Cinnamon ice cream tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch for sure.

Stopped in with 3 others after dinner in Cambridge; the ice cream is awesome. And the mini cones were a hit for those that were on the fence about getting desert. They had no regrets it was so awesome.
