We've just moved to Cambridge, and decided to take a break from assembling furniture and try the restaurant across the street. It was excellent: warm and attentive welcome, delicious food, quick service. We'll be coming back for sure.

Really mediocre food including possibly the worst falafel I’ve had. Maybe it’s just their vegetarian selection.

my only gripe is the way i got charged. this koobideh was absolutely delicious and juicy. the rice was amazing, i love the dill and lima beans. the seating outside on a nice weather day was fun until the bees kept smelling my floral perfume lol. the ambiance inside is also nice so wasn't an issue to move inside. our server was very sweet and hospitable. my only thing is they need a koobideh combo plate on the menu, that's a staple at all the persian restaurants. since they don't have one here, she placed an order for one beef koobideh a la carte, one chicken, and the rice but the total was $24 instead of the $19 plate where you get two beef koobideh and that makes no sense because sirloin is more expensive than chicken. the plate also didn't come with a grilled tomato or lavash bread on the side. she was sweet in bringing sumac and butter and raw onion after i asked for sumac. but next time i need them not to overcharge for ordering it separate like that or get the koobideh beef plate and one a la carte chicken koobideh so that the value is worth the cost.

Kabab barg and Ghorme-sabzi on tahdig are fantastic! I don't recommend Koobideh.
Also they were nice and respectful and we enjoyed the outdoor space.

Delicious Persian food, tahdiq (fried bread and rice at the bottom of pot) which the sell covered in either gheyme or ghorme sabzi is very delicious and a large portion. Also Koobide kabab was very delicious. I wish they would add half gheyime and half ghorme to their Tahdiq, like they do in California and Texas, but they don't. They serve Tahdiq with only one sauce and it is still VERY AMAZING. The waiter, Isma, was also very nice, professional and had a superb hospitality. We will definitely go back for more.

Mediterranean Grill was a solid choice for a casual bite. The food had all the right flavors, but nothing that really stood out. Service was friendly and quick. Overall, it's a reliable spot for Mediterranean staples, but don't expect anything surprising.

I ordered in the past few times I mean end of 2024 no complaint at all very ok food. I ordered for my guests Ash was great as well as ghormesabzi but last week ordered again same things plus kebab but it was overly greasy overcooked and rice was very poorly prepared I am comparing to previous saffron rice I ordered (fluffy tasty rice with saffron) and ghormesabzi arrived unfortunately beaten with all juice gone! squishy pieces of tahdig left in it ...very disappointed please do justice to the persian recepies :(

We visited this restaurant three times during our latest visit to Cambridge. We had made reservations a week in advance and we were unable to change the venue after our first visit because of the number of people we had to notify.

Sultan was great and he was another reason we did not change our reservations. The other waiting staff were very nice but not very knowledgeable or competent.

The Barg and chicken kabobs were good.
The koobide kabobs were dry and seemed to have flour mixed with ground beef.

The Ghorneh sabzi was not edible because it contained many lime seeds, apparently because they used broken, instead of whole, dried limes in cooking. When I asked to talk to the chef about it they said he does not speak Persian.

Zereshk polov was not prepared in a manner that is prepared in Persian cooking. Specifically, the zereshk was not crisp as if it was cooked with the rice instead of being sauteed and added to the rice just before serving.

All together, our experience was below expectations. I hope that the owners read this comment and take necessary actions, specially with lime seeds in the dishes
