What the menu lacks in variety, it makes up for in quality. We had the kebabs, chips & salsa and the chicken sandwich, and every single one blew away our expectations. Flavors were complex and robust, food perfectly prepared, and the worst part of the meal was when the decent portions were gone.

Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted after a 7.5hr car ride in dense New England traffic, and truly, this nerd-bar scratched every itch after a long, stressful day.

I've been coming here since college (quite a while ago, I'm old) and it's still the small lovely place to hang and meet up with friends.

What an excellent place for a great bite and some awesome beer! Was visiting Boston for a conference and a friend who lives there recommended Miracle of Science for an informal dinner. She also described it as an “awesome dive” which I guess fits the place well. Very informal, with lots of locals, and with a cool vibe. The beer selection is not huge but everything I tried was spot on. The first night I had the Ronie burger and it was just plain awesome!!! The second night, yes went back the next day, had the lamb skewers and they were equally great (and this is high praise from a Greek!). Finished dinner on both nights with a serving of Gracie’s microcreamery ice cream. They had raspberry, dark chocolate chip and it was fantastic. Flavors change regularly so you won’t know what they have for the day until you order. If you’re in the area and looking for an unpretentious place to eat with tons of local vibe, try Miracle of Science, you won’t be disappointed.

Where the not sickening new Cambridge people aren't THAT bad.... The rest of them are far too obnoxious. A wonderful selection of vegetarian cuisine from many different nations, a choice list of draft beers and skilled personalities pouring them; always friendly!

Vegetarian options: Cheese quesadillas
Hummus plate
Felafel something
Salads
This is all I've had!

The nerdy vibe makes this neighborhood pub unique. The service and atmosphere are always pleasant and fun. It’s amazing I’m sure the staff came and went, but the tradition and vibe seem to be carried on after all these years.

The most unique (nerdy) thing is the menu in the format of a periodical table. They pretty much kept the same menu as 20 years ago when I went to the small institute of tech down on mass ave. :)

It was a special place for a treat when I was a poor student back in the days. Now my family visit this place as a special treat every time we are in the neighborhood.

Please keep it the way you are! ❤️

Went for the 4th of July had a hotel right near by. We went for drinks and then wanted to explore the area. The bartender, Bren was so nice and personable! We wound up going back for dinner after exploring the area and were not disappointed! She even remembered our names when we got back! The food, vibe and fun were great!!

This bar has a really fun gimmick of having the menu be on one massive chalkboard in the shape of a periodic table and has a really fun vibe. The burger I got was very good and I would get it again. The home fries however we're very hard, flavored well but tough to chew so I'd sub them out. The watermelon sangria was also very good. I'd definitely come back!
