The food here was VERY good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My only gripe is the portion size compared to the price; it felt a bit steep for how small the servings were. That said, even if I may not come back, I can still say it’s definitely worth trying at least once if you’re in the area.
I was told they recently changed the menu, and unfortunately, the food options are now very few and quite mediocre.
Very good dishes, staff helped with gluten sensitivity. Lamb was great, but it was a lot $$$ to leave not that full.
The food was very good (for someone who doesn’t have allergies). My friends and I had a reservation for a month in advance and made it very clear that she has a sesame and tree nut allergy. The waiter told us what exactly was safe for her to eat. He recommended a few tapas that we proceeded to order. Right when my friend took a bite, she began to have an allergic reaction. It’s hard to place the blame on just one individual, but the manger ended up leaving as soon as he realized what was happening, along with the waiter saying “are you dying?” Wanted to love this place, but probably won’t be coming back.
Tucked away in a quaint and eclectic setting, this spot truly delivers when it comes to food. We sat outdoors, which added to the charm, and went as a group—perfect for sharing. We ordered the mushroom hummus, lamb awarma, labneh, falafel , and branzino, and every single dish was packed with flavor and beautifully balanced. The food was a definite standout and had us all raving.
The only miss of the evening was dessert. We tried the pistachio-based one, and while it sounded promising, the ice cream had a slightly artificial aftertaste, and the genoise cake was on the dry side. May be we ordered the wrong dessert from the selection.
That said, we’ll absolutely be back—for the food, the drinks, and that cozy, eclectic vibes.
Excellent meze options and very creative cocktails. The honey glazed carrots were exceptional and the dips delicious
Food was great. Tapas delicious as were the cocktails. Would recommend 2 tapas per person for dinner, though an extra doesn't hurt. Great service and ambiance.

Unfortunately, our experience at Moona was a huge miss and I would not recommend dining here for special occasions. We made a reservation for 4 to celebrate our engagement and our friend's wedding. On the afternoon of the reservation, the manager called to ask if we could move from 8:15 to 8:30 as they'd had another party that wanted to add extra people.
We were happy to oblige, but when we arrived at the new reservation time of 8:30 there were no tables available. By 8:45, it was clear that nothing was going to free up on time, so the hostess seated us at the bar and said she would move us to a table when she could. At 9:30, a full hour after our reservation (which had already been moved), we finally were able to get a table. At that point the kitchen was closing and we had finished our meal, so there was no point.
So despite trying to help management out by agreeing to move our reservation because they had overbooked, we ended up having our celebratory dinner sitting at the bar. Not a good experience and generally an unprofessional way for a restaurant manager to operate.

The food was decent, but nothing stood out enough to make us want to return. Octopus was a highlight, but the main courses—chicken tagine and fish tagine—were just okay. Overall, I found the restaurant a bit overpriced for the value you get.

Truly authentic Levantine food, and I’m only saying it because my Syrian girlfriend said so!! Try the Arak and the steak tips. The baba ghanoush is also delicious.

The food at Moona is quite well prepared. We tried their harissa carrots, the steak tips, chicken skewer, feta fritters, and the dips plate/platter. We were impressed with everything except the chicken and dips platter. Genuinely, I cannot say enough good things about the feta fritters, steak tips, and harissa carrots; brilliant flavors and cooked quite well. The pita with the chicken skewer dish was very soggy and the spices on the chicken weren’t anything to write home about. Additionally, the dips plate is insanely overpriced for the exceptionally small amount of food on it. The dips included are also served with other dishes and they give you like 5 olives, so it really felt like a waste of money. The staff is also lovely and attentive.
