Great good. Good layout inside and out— It feels tucked away despite being on a main street.

Service is terrible here. Food is also really sub par & kinda pricey. You can go to el jefes or a nearby mexican place in central square for half the price and better food. Only good thing was the outdoor seating. Wouldn’t return

This place is exceptionally subpar and I stand by that. I consider myself to have a high tolerance for mediocrity, but this place as of late took it

Our table was sat down and the servers came by once for apps and drinks - chips were okay - chicharones were the standouts here . They came out at an acceptable pace, after that they were nowhere to be found for 20 minutes until we grabbed someone at the front counter.

Food took about 25 minutes to roll out for tacos that were at best stale tasting for $7 a piece. Not a single sever came by to check on us after this.

Drinks and a somewhat boisterous atmosphere were the only things keeping me from starting to complain.

To top it all off when it came time to pay we waited nearly 30 minutes until we got fed up once again and had to walk to the nearest staff member to get the manager to get us our bill.

I hope they take this as a constructive criticism because it was not a good time overall

It sucked that they wouldn’t let us sit outside even though there were ample seats available, warm weather and only 8:30 at night. But ambience inside is still cool.

Tamarind margarita with mezcal was awesome, and the street corn did not disappoint! Probably my most fav part of the meal even though it’s an app.

Ordered 3 tacos: pescado, camarones and carnitas. I’ve eaten here before but I feel like last night they missed the mark. The pescado is actually a really thick piece of fish - delicious but overshadows the whole taco and not much room for other ingredients. The camarones was beyond spicy, I don’t know what happened I couldn’t eat it. But the carnitas was delicious!

Might go back and try their other tacos. I’ve heard good things about their pollo and tofu taco and ceviche. But disappointed last night didn’t go as planned.

Meh on the fish tacos and tortas. The fish taco was dry, barely had anything on it and was expensive. The torta was just a grilled chicken sandwich on a hamburger bun, not on telera bread like a torta should be.

We truly enjoyed the taco bowl and quinoa bowl on the lovely porch. Great staff and delicious food — highly recommended!

This place is delicious! Unlike some taco places which have the same toppings, but just switch out the meat, Naco Taco has different flavor profiles for the different tacos you order! Would recommend trying all of them. My favorite is the fish and shrimp.
Wait staff are friendly too. Happy that Naco Taco gives such a good taco option in Central Square.

We were visiting Boston. We walked around and ended up in Cambridge and came across Naco Taco. A Mexican restaurant that looked very vibrant and flavorful from the outside. However, this is an embarrassment and disgrace to call it authentic Mexican food. I ordered the taco bowl with my protein option carne Al Pastor. We placed the order and not even five minutes later the waiter arrived with our food. The beans were lukewarm. The meat was less than lukewarm It was dry and rough. The meat texture was like they scraped the bottom of the pan, definitely not fresh. The rice was completely cold. It was all cluster together. Again, it was definitely not fresh rice. The salsa verde tasted more like a pesto sauce, to really tasty. Portions were really small too. Food taste was blend and tasteless. The Mexican flavors were just not there. This was just an overpriced $16 Taco bowl. We paid with debit card but asked the waitress to give us change. He gave us two $10 bills. We then asked to break $10. He claimed he didn’t have change that he would have to ask the bar people. That was what really pissed me off. In other words, the waiter forced us to leave a $10 tip. I was going to say something but my husband said: “That’s okay, let’s go!

Got the taco bowl and basically didn't eat it cause it was mid. Also got 3 tacos:

Pollo taco - My favorite of the 3 tacos. Next time I might just get 3 of these.

Chicharron taco - Was okay. I want it chared more. Had better pork belly tacos from elsewhere.

Camarones taco - It looked plain but was pretty solid.

Chicharrones tacos ARE to die for. Came here on a visit to Boston and walked by and saw this was a lively spot. It did not disappoint. The Oaxaca Old Fashioned was great too ??

My taco was a sad shrimp one, and my kid had chicken. Both came fast and cold.

INCREDIBLE! Amazing food! I’ve had award winning friend chicken sandwiches and these are way better. Service is fast and the atmosphere is so festive!

Not very friendly or accommodating. When asked about their gluten free options (because I am celiac), they replied that it's gluten friendly and I shouldn't eat here if I was worried about it. Look, I don't expect restaurants to always have safe options for me, but the way they responded was less than kind. I wouldn't eat here if you have any type of allergy or intolerance.
