Haven't been here since they moved from central and it's everything the old people's Republik was and more. Super friendly staff, great drinks, fun atmosphere. Wish I lived closer!

This place is super chill--I used to come to the last iteration with drunk cooks that wanted strong drinks and darts, in that order. The new place offers the same, but is also cleaner(?!)Good music, super reasonably priced drinks. Excellent vibe. But the best thing of all is definitely the picklebacks. They have pickle juice on tap. No, really. On tap. They f@#k,. Super hard.

I'd heard that New Republik was a solid beer bar, which indeed it is. There are about two dozen brews on tap, although you can't try several at once via a flight. Still, the selection was compelling enough that I got two glasses - one of the Green Fountains hazy pale ale from Ten Bends, and another of the Honalee NEIPA from Lamplighter. Both nicely hazy, reasonably complex brews that went well with food.Talking about which, it's not just about beer. There's a full kitchen in the back that serves sandwiches, appetizers, burgers, panini, pizze, and entrees. I enjoyed a plate of flautas which were nicely crispy on the outside and sufficiently meaty on the outside, and indeed they paired well with the hazy brews that I'd had.Service is proactive and helpful, and, of course, if you're on the fence about committing to a certain brew, they're happy to offer a taste. There's also a reasonable amount of room to spread out inside, although I imagine this place might get crowded on weekend evenings. An excellent local find!

I absolutely love this Inman Square spot. The bartenders are great, the music is always on point, and the vibe is lively, but not chaotic. There are TVs and in the past they've put on games we've requested. They have food and a pretty large drink menu (including wine and non-alcoholic options). If you like pickleback shots, I'm happy to report they have pickle juice on draft. The space can get busy, but doesn't get so loud where it's impossible to have a conversation and we've always managed to snag bar seats or a table.

Atmosphere reminded me of the old People's Republik with friendly service. Good beer selection priced on par with the area.Food was average and overpriced what you get.

The best bar in Boston! Such great people, both staff and visitors. Wildly chill but also very serious about their beers and food. So pleased you all have taken a good thing and made it your own!
