My wife is a vegan. Although there was no such entre on the menu, the manager suggested a modification to one that worked out very well. My food was very good, and the service excellent.

Completely overpriced for mediocre food. Not enough staff to accommodate the customers. Took 25 minutes just to receive our initial drink order. Won't come back.

Ideal for dinner after a concert at Sanders Theatre or First Church in Cambridge. Comfort food with some Armenian specialties, full bar with good wine list, and warm, pleasant service.

Even though I showed the host our confirmation email, she had no record of it. Thankfully, they could seat us. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and the chicken was hard as a brick and tasteless. Service was impeccable and we do like nubar in general. Despite these two misfortunes, we will visit again.

We have always enjoyed special meals at this restaurant but were surprised and disappointed to have a surcharge of over $50 added to our bill for last Sunday's brunch for a party of six people and a two-year old. And there weren't many people there. I would have appreciated knowing this charge was coming ahead of time. Our family has eaten at a number of local restaurants and never encountered this charge before. We will probably not be in a hurry to return to the Nubar.

Food was good, service was attentive, and later when we had trouble requesting an Uber to return home after attending a concert in the church next door, the restaurant front desk staff was quite helpful.

The main reason I did t give it all 5 stars was because after we'd been seated and had our drinks and we're about to order our meal, another person (presumably a manager?) came to our table with an elderly woman with a cane behind him asking, almost accusatorially, if we had a reservation. We did. He then asked the waiter, in front of us, which name it was under. WTF. Under NO circumstance is this okay in a decent restaurant.

This restaurant is a gem. The cocktails at the swanky bar were great and the server for dinner was terrific. She had a lot to do but was nonetheless very attentive, kind and professional at every turn. We will be back! Thank yo.

Service was excellent. Wines by the glass options were good but a bit pricey ($13-17 for a modest selection. Noise kevel was low which is a plus. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre to poor. French fries were cold and overcooked. The salad side had too much dressing and was soggy. The sandwiches are made with brioche, and there was no alternative. The fried fish coating was oily. Perhaps the Entrees are better.

This is the restaurant that the Sheraton Commander hotel uses for complementary breakfast for its guest. That is what I ate here two mornings in a row. This election was limited and not very exciting.

Consistantly good food, good variety on menu. Pleasant ambience - several different table spaces. Very comfortable. Will definitely recommend

We took our friends from Florida to Nubar for dinner and it was a big hit! They liked the food (including the server's care about food allergies), loved the ambience, appreciated that it was quiet enough that we could chat, and thought the service was first rate. Many thanks!

Flawless service and delicious lunch options. We each ordered slightly customized dishes from the menu and the staff was patient and obliging.

The salmon was very yummy. The menu's quite modest, not a lot of choices. Absolutely nothing comes with the entrée, and the portion wasn't very big, but quite tasty. Service was excellent.
