We took our friends from Florida to Nubar for dinner and it was a big hit! They liked the food (including the server's care about food allergies), loved the ambience, appreciated that it was quiet enough that we could chat, and thought the service was first rate. Many thanks!
The salmon was very yummy. The menu's quite modest, not a lot of choices. Absolutely nothing comes with the entrée, and the portion wasn't very big, but quite tasty. Service was excellent.
We eat at Nubar fairly frequently when we attend the American Repertory Theatre, a few blocks from the Sheraton Commander. The food is fabulous and is always served graciously. In the most recent visit, we had the Shrimp Scampi and the Sicilian Flatbread as appetizers. Our main course was an order of steak frites, served for 2 (at no extra charge). We shared a bottle of Oberon Cabernet 2021, a great value at $55. For desserts, we had the Armenian Almond and Orange Cake as well...
