Paris Baguette is my go-to spot for birthday cakes—they’re always beautifully made, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Whether it’s fruit-topped, chocolate, or cream-filled, every cake I’ve tried has been a hit with friends and family.
The presentation is elegant, and the flavors are light yet satisfying—perfect for any celebration. In my opinion, it’s the best place to buy birthday cakes if you’re looking for quality and taste. Highly recommended! 🎂
It's kind of a toss up with them. Ultimately the pastries are overpriced for the quality. I had a pistachio croissant that was so saccharine and synthetic I had to throw it away. The sweet laminated pastries are generally mediocre. They don't have many savory vegetarian pastries The milk breads are fine if you like them, but ultimately you could go to almost any Chinese bakery in Chinatown pay less and have a better product (I suggest you check out Double Chin if you're in the area). Their main appeal is that they have some Asian influenced pastries you can't get at a western bakery like red beans paste and hot dog filled items. They also do fresh fruit and other chiffon cakes which are where they shine. If you go get a slice of a strawberry cake and enjoy
Perfect bakery/ confectionery. We love Paris Baguette’s cakes! They are so delicious, beautiful designed, light cream and fresh ingredients. In every birthday party we got cakes for our celebration and never disappointed us.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a delicious/beautiful cake!
Decent bakery, but I was mortified to see with my dad that they dumped all their leftover in a trash bin. I understand it might be food safety or freshness reasons, but located in a place with so many unhoused people, it is obscene that they just throw away about 50 pieces of perfectly good bakery when so many go hungry. I encourage the management to start working with NGOs to deal with its food waste problem. When I worked in a food kitchen, many nearby coffee shops, like Starbucks, donate their unsold food for them. It is certainly doable, and it is a matter of will and value. Paris Baguette can do better.
They should definitely have better boxes for the cakes i bought mine and the handle broke, leaving a messed up cake
Matcha latte and matcha smoothie are good
Croissant, hazelnut coffee and hot chocolate were sub par. Didn’t like the taste.
I always like its whole cakes - the spongy cake and perfect sweetness. I like the new rewards system to redeem different items with points, which is much better than just pastries in the past. Customers service is also amazing, showing empathy and understanding of customer’s needs.
We are old loyal customer for this place for a long time. We ordered two birthday cake today. Our bad luck that the paper bag went broken cause cake surface ruined. The shop owner is a very nice gentleman, understand how important this birthday cake is for an 8 year old, he is very generous to allow us to buy two new cake for a lower price. We really appreciate this, will remain a customer to them in the future!
Is everything here a 5/5? No, but are a majority of things here incredible? Yes. And just the mere fact that no other place does what they do alone makes this a 5/5. Where else can I go to get the quality and abundance of amazing cronuts or delicious creamy cakes in Boston? Sadly, there are so few proper bakeries in this city and this location is a godsend.

Most of the bakeries are very delicious here. You might want to eat them right after you bought them. I had a bread with red bean paste filling and left it in fridge for overnight. I ate it second morning and a few hours later I started throwing up and had really bad headaches. I didn’t eat anything else unless the bread. So I have the reason to believe that was because of it.

Utterly disappointed: I've ordered Paris baguette cakes for the past 3 years for every family members birthday and been a loyal customer. This time, I bought their double chocolate salted caramel cake for a birthday party, and it was an utter disaster. So salty that it was inedible. Called them up to ask for a refund, they were extremely unhelpful and said they sold the cake to many others who had no complaints- this is a lie since we read reviews of others (unrelated to us, and have also left poor reviews for the same cake). Clearly there was a quality check failure and it's disappointing that they did nothing to fix it. Will not be going back again.
I am writing as a very disappointed costumer. My friend got a very expensive cake for my son’s 13th birthday and it was supposed to be a special celebration. However, the cake was very salty and just wrong (salted caramel cake is
supposed to be salted mildly in caramel but the whole chocolate cake was salted) and no one in the party could eat it. When we called the store, the attitude was unbelievable and we were asked to send pictures and bring actual cake for any sort of resolution. I have never had a worse cake plus a celebration was ruined.
