I was impressed with the customer service. The employees understand & are willing to accommodate allergies. They also offer some alternative milk options for no extra charge.

I’m not much of a coffee guy but Peet’s coffee makes me one. Best cappuccino (Havana cappuccino ) anywhere . Wish they could open up more locations in MA

Great coffee, but it's not the most comfortable place to hang out.

Review for Harvard Winthrop’s Square Peet’s Coffee Shop (May 11, 2025)

I had a disappointing experience at the Peet’s coffee shop today, which is surprising because I’m a regular and usually love this place. The woman serving cappuccinos seemed to struggle with efficiency, often splashing coffee when adding lids to the cups. Instead of addressing the issue, she attempted to solve it by pouring the excess into the basin, which created a mess.

Unfortunately, many of the cups were overflowing, resulting in coffee spilling outside the cups. When customers requested napkins, she directed them to the opposite corner of the room, which was inconvenient, especially with coffee dripping from the cups.

Overall, I was not satisfied with this experience and would rate it 1 star. I hope improvements can be made in the future, as I truly enjoy this coffee shop!

The best London Fog I’ve ever had! 🫖Michael knows what he’s doing, steeping the tea properly before adding the milk and not overly sweetening this classic drink. And he’s always so friendly and kind!😊 My favorite place to be in Harvard Square! 🎉

This is probably the only coffee shop left from the days of Harvard square coffee glory, when we had Crema Cafe, when Starbucks Reserve was a thing... Yes, Dunkin is still around, but you won't find another coffee shop here that has been delivering such a coffee quality and atmosphere. And if I missed something, point it out in a comment! I hope they are not squeezed out as other good coffee shops. Stop by and support them by buying a cup of the best brew in the square!

The place is very calm, you can sit and enjoy your food. However, there are no options of salted foods, once there are only pastries. I had a latte and a danish and it was 11.13 tax included.

I’m from California so it’s great to find a Peet’s Coffee in the Boston/Cambridge area! This location is so nice and perfect for studying or meeting up with friends.
