Excellent double espresso. The cafe is kick back plenty of students with laptops. Staff is efficient and experienced. Plenty of Vietnamese themed items including the signature Vietnamese coffee.

One of my fav places to grab a coffee and snack! It’s always so busy here but it’s because it’s worth it! The Ube Phin is great, with coffee and Ube flavoring coming through really nicely! The Ube milk tea is not bad but very milky, not a must try.
Pandan bun was very fluffy and had great texture! I just wish the Pandan flavor was stronger, even with the top part you could barely taste it, so it was more just a nice sweet bun. The food here looks so good though, can’t wait to try it and some of their other drinks next time I come!
Edit: Came back for the Breakfast skillet and it’s 100% worth it. A whole baguette with pickle on the side goes perfectly with a Vietnamese sampler platter of meats, egg, cheese, and tomato sauce. It’s a lot but so incredibly good!

It’s unfortunate that the cafe serves culinary grade matcha and refuse to share what brand of matcha they use and try to gaslight people on social media that it’s ceremonial grade, when it’s clearly not. The drinks are very grainy, not well whisked and matcha tastes extremely stale, a huge disappointment overall.

I usually get a chai latte here every time I’m in the area (which is quite often). It usually is so good refreshing and slightly sweetened. This chai latte I received yesterday tasted nothing like what I was used to. It didn’t taste like chai quite frankly, more like another form of black tea and milk. It was very diluted, unsweetened, and had no flavor?? What’s up with this

Absolute chaos when it comes to getting our order. We stored in store, waited 30 min for our croissant, and someone who ordered in store 10min after us got hers and finished it before we got ours!

I'd recommend getting Phinista's great coffee, tea, & bahn mi to go since there's a serious airflow problem in here (at least on 9/21/2025). The smell of the bathrooms is permeating all the way to the window seats and it seems the A/C isn't working. It must not be like this all the time because I haven't seen a single other person mention it. It made it impossible for me to eat inside and I had to ask for a to-go cup and bag - something the staff were gracious in providing expeditiously. I strongly suggest management put some money into both plumbing and ventilation - the atmosphere is not up to par with other cafes. One should not need to light candles all over the place in an ineffective attempt to diffuse a bad smell.

They must have a plumbing problem because it smells foul in here. Pity because I used to stop by frequently for their fun drinks, but recently it’s become unpleasant, esp on a sunny day when the place warms up and the smell is extra strong.

The BBQ chicken bahn mi 🥖🥪 is so good. The baguette is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The BBQ chicken 🍖 is really tender and flavorful as well.
The strawberry matcha 🍓🍵 and the ube matcha 💜🍵 is so good!! I definitely recommend trying both.

I usually get my Vietnamese coffees from The Boston location. This coffee in porter is strong but tastes nothing like the delicacy of the Boston coffee. I assumed it would be the same. I wonder why it’s different at each location?
