We went to 730 Tavern for a Saturday brunch. Overall the food was fine, tasty. It was quite empty but the ambiance is definitely a sports bar/gastropub feel. We had the Mac and cheese, fish tacos, Mexican street corn (comes out as loose kernels so can be shared) and some breakfast dishes (eggs, waffles, French toast). They were all fine and delicious, no complaints. I had a Bloody Mary which was also fine. It is the "best food ever"? probably not but you should have a good meal with nice staff.
We arrived at the restaurant and the door was locked. Apparently they were “full so they decided to lock the door. We banged on it some and a person waiting in the vestibule opened the door. After walking through a bunch of people complaining that we hd the nerve to walk in, we checked in with the hostess. We were seated almost immediately -with another round of immature hecklers complaining to us. Once we were seated everything was great. The place is good but locking the door is a move I haven't ever experienced before and it set us up as bad guys entering. Just to be clear nobody from the restaurant let us in- in was a Good Samaritan in a sea of miserable hipster hecklers.
My co worker and my husband and I came Here for dinner good food and service was good too we like the dinner here
Great food, unfortunate timing to have your payment system go down for the entire lunch rush. Having to Zelle someone who works at the restaurant isn't ideal for me and now I'm unable to expense my team lunch since my work doesn't accept Zelle payments as valid.
This place was perfect for a quick nice evening on our trip for the weekend. The servers were very pleasant and attentive. The drinks options were many and they did not disappoint. The food was awesome. Everyone of our selected options did not disappoint, from the calamari to the mozzarella sticks to the pasta. Will definitely visit again on my next trip.
We came to celebrate a birthday and to try the dine out Boston menu! Everything from The drinks, appetizers to the entree and dessert were delicious! Everything was so good! Highly recommend!
Went on a Friday night. A little noisy, but about as expected for a Friday. The waitress didn't talk loud enough over the noise, which was ironic, but not a huge deal. They sat us in the back away from the bar and that helped with the noise too. The food was great, exactly what I expected, and a phenomenal value.
My partner and I ate at 730 for Valentine's Day. We were sat in the back, which was a bit quieter than the main area, and we were served promptly with excellent customer service. We ordered calamari and the New York steak special, and everything was delicious. Our bill was just over $100 for the two steak meals (which each came with two sides), the calamari, three soft drinks, tax and tip. The ambience was cozy and intimate, with tables for two set with flowers and electric candles. I will be coming here again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice dinner out.
Crowd appears to be full of grad students. So fun and lively, but not out of hand. Food was good, but service was just okay. A pet peeve is bringing the entres out with the appetizers. After specifically saying we'll order entres after the appetizers arrive, and being reassured that we could order entres at the same time and it wouldn't be a problem the entrees came like one minute after the appetizers.
Food was wonderful. Plenty of gluten free options that were delicious. It was rather loud and had a hard time hearing but that was just because of one loud table of women. We will definitely be back to try some of the other food

There were lots of gluten free options, loved that there is a separate fryer for the gluten free food. We all enjoyed our food and I would go back again except the noise level was over the top. I could not talk to/hear the people at my table. Also there were no obvious note anywhere that there would be a 20% tip added to the bill which was added at the end for a table of 4. That turned me off to the place.
It was a struggle to have the waitStaff understand what we were asking. Two of the three that served us had just started working there and had no clue about the menu or their beer selections! Our waitress completely disappeared and we had to flag someone down from the bar to come and take our order. The food was pretty good, but they need to get their staff sorted. As we left the greeter had her head down and was asleep on the podium!
We had a lovely lunch this past week and our waitress i=was excellent and attentive. We read the reviews and ordered the special which was the blackened chicken bowl, that was flavorful, wuth cilantro, and a very good size portion. The obly hurdle is having a conversation, with TVs everywhere very loud with various sports' events playing. The food was great and our waitress exceptional. There are tables just at the front of the restaurant that allows you to feel the nice breeze coming in. Lotsof selections on the menu, but after reading the reviews everyone suggested trying the specials. We will be back, and this would be a fun place on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening after work. Our sincere thanks for a wonderful meal!
The waitress forgot multiple drinks, she spilled multiple drinks, so much so we had to move tables, and she forgot to bill us for all our drinks and came back after we cashed out asking us to pay for them. We weren't checked up on at all for how our food tasted. So unprofessional and will not be back.
It was packed and lively and very noisy as it should be on a Friday night. It took a very long time for a wait staff to acknowledge us. We had to eventually let the hostess know that no one came to us. After someone was told, the service arrived and the drinks and the food flowed.
