I had brilliant food on every single visit. Portion sizes are on the smaller side. Prices are typical for the Porter square area. Staff is very nice and helpful. They have enough seating that you won't have to wait to be seated ever. Good ambience for catching up with people or even dates.

We tried the drunken noodles , basil chicken and Thai iced tea. It was really good. Will definitely go back !

Went here for lunch and ordered a bento box that had pad thai in it, the thai iced tea was delicious but the actual entree needs alot of work, pad thai just tasted like noodles and soy sauce really disappointed, waitress was also MIA for most of our dine in.

This place is a miss, needless to say. I say that having tried both their Thai food and their Vietnamese food and I can say after eating here that I can find better places. I am such a fan of big noodle soups and in my opinion what makes a soup is the quality of the broth- this place lacked deep, flavorful broth. I myself had the Tom Yum noodle soup and tried the Bo Kho Vietnamese soup. Both were unexpectedly bland. The way I can describe both dishes was that they were both very watered down versions of what they should have been- both needed more salt and more rich broth. The Vietnamese crepe (Banh Xeo) was the only redeemable thing I ate and it wasn't even the best one I had. In summary, go to Pho n' Rice on Beacon St. In Somerville or Pho and I near Symphony Hall. Save your money and miss this place.

Love the items on the menu. Try out different spice levels. Maybe it was just me but the curries taste totally different at different spice levels.

This place is good. Don't listen to the (low-rating) idiots who expect everything in the world to be catered exactly to them.

Really good banh mi, they season it very well and the portions are very fair. I enjoyed it very much. It's pricier than a majority of Vietnamese sandwich shops ($7 at Pho House, $4 - $5 everywhere else) so that's the only downside, as far as I know!

The garlic udon noodles with crispy chicken are delicious!

The vegetarian pho didn't have enough vegetables or bean sprouts. The fresh rolls had very little chicken and tasted off. I asked the waitress if the chicken was grilled, she said no, and that it was similar to ham. I had no idea what that meant. The booths were ripped and tapped with duct tape. The kitchen closed at 9:40 even though it stays open until 10.

Be careful. Many items on the menu say they can made vegan. Ordered and asked twice to verify items would be vegan, they said yes. Got home with the take out and two dishes had egg :(

Nice place with good service. Pricing is great with right portion food. I recommend this place.

Unassuming interior with excellent pho. The broth is consistently great.

The pho is terrible, way too much clove in it masking the lack of taste. The meat quality was poor. I felt nauseous after eating it. Pretty ironic for a restaurant calling itself the house of Pho ...

I love the Bun dish here and the ga salad, it's a great neighborhood spot with friendly service and authentic vietnamese food. I love the pho as well but for some reason I think the bun dish is the best. I like how they put crispy rolls inside with the grilled meat. Yummy

Atmosphere was very nice and calm. Lights were dimmed and the view towards the street was nice. They served us even though we came in close to closing time. Food was excellent!
