Ordered two sides of Mac salad, received two plain cold noodles instead.
I am speechless.
This isn’t even an actual side on their menu, so someone had to go out of their way to pack and send this. It’s not even a mistake, it’s intentional at this point.
I love Pokeworks and I always go to the one in Watertown, but this specific location always fails to impress me. Staff is a bunch of rude teenagers who literally don’t know nor do they care about what they’re doing. My order got all messed up, the portions were extremely disappointing, I wasn’t even offered a bag when it was clearly a to-go order and the music was BLASTING off the speakers. I honestly won’t come to this location at all.
Edit: I’m posting the pictures of my not-even-half-full bowl that I paid almost 20 dollars for. Ridiculous.

You all canceled my catering order for 30 people literally 5 MINUTES before it was supposed to be delivered. I placed the order in advance and even called to confirm the day before. I had to scramble and order pizza, which is the last thing you want to do when running a workshop for a large group of people. You didn’t even reach out with a personal apology or explanation. Just an automated email. I will never eat here again.

I ordered one of the standard bowls online and I'm pretty sure they forgot to add the sauce. No flavor. (I ordered "medium flavor").
I used to love this place, but the portion size for its poke bowls has gone down so much over the past year that I now find it hard to justify spending $16.25 pre-tax on a 2-protein bowl without any add-ons. Poke City up Mass Ave would give me so much more for cheaper. Waikiki is a solid alternative, too. Pick Pokeworks only if you're in a rush, since it's conveniently located right by a red line stop. Overall a really mid experience, though.

I've visited this place three times, and I do enjoy the poke bowls here. The quality and portion sizes are reasonable. However, there's a recurring issue with the service—one of the staff members frequently forgets to include ingredients I ordered, even the ones I paid extra for, like avocado.
This has happened multiple times, including when I ordered through Uber Eats. Just recently, my bowl was missing several ingredients, including Sriracha sauce, edamame, wasabi, cabbage, and sesame seeds. If it were just one or two missing items, I might have let it slide, but this happens far too often.
When I brought it to her attention, she seemed upset, blamed me for not checking my order earlier, and never apologized. I was lucky to be dining in this time, so I could ask for the missing ingredients, but when I order delivery, there’s nothing I can do. This level of service is really disappointing. I hope the restaurant improves its attention to detail and customer service.

Poke is not bad, but not good either. I've had better poke in Iowa, and that says a lot.

I love the poke bowl. I added a bit of everything and that was so delicious. There are some seats where you can sit and enjoy food. But the napkins were so hard to take out and tear apart when I pulled out. The staff are friendly but a bit slow.

Two times in two weeks that I got stuff I didn’t request in my bowl. Today it was shrimps instead of salmon- I was so disgusted because I do not eat shellfish at all (religiously). I used to love this place but it is not the same anymore

Oct 2024:
The food portions were reasonable, but the miso soup was overly salty and served in a cup that was only half full. For the price, the meal felt underwhelming—perhaps I ordered the wrong dish. While the experience was decent, it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Once was enough for me.

Understaffed, no chance of putting in an in person order when the only staff is working on piles of mobile orders, and too busy to even warn the waiting customer about it.

Workers were not respectful.
The food preparation area was Not Clean, also the checkout register was crusted and dirty. I ordered online for pickup, but when I arrived the employees said that online orders were not printing and they didn't have my order in the system even though I was already charged for my food. The employee didn't really offer a solution just looked down at their phone. That's when I noticed that the food preparation area was dirty, and another employee was throwing used food bowls on the floor so I cancelled my order because I didn't want to eat from there and risk food poisoning. I'm still giving this Pokeworks 2 stars because I used to eat from there years ago and it was good, but it's clearly gone downhill seeing that other reviewers have mentioned getting food poisoning from this location... Management, please train your employees to be more professional!
