I have been in Hospitality my whole life. When I say this place went above and beyond let me explain. So this was my first time to Boston and I had to have a lobster roll however, as we all know time flies when having fun and I forgot to get one before the trip was coming to a close. I googled BEST LOBSTER ROLLS in Boston at 9PM last day of trip. Well Row 34 came up so I rushed to make it before they closed. When I got there a gentlemen named Jason Boyd came up front welcomed me and I said I wanted to order to go. There was only one issue it was 10:06PM and even though they closed at 11PM the kitchen closed at 10PM. Well!!!!! Jason went and asked the chef if he could make the Lobster roll and guess what, he did. OMG!!!!! this lobster roll was not only AMAZING but the fries were fresh not some left over fries and the coleslaw was so amazing. Jason was so nice to also add a Butterscotch Dessert in there as a gift and that was so good I licked the togo container... One thing about Hospitality is when you go above and beyond you dont just make a customer you make a guest for life. Well I suggest that you go to ROW34 near MIT when in Boston and if you dont its your lose for missing out on amazing food and service. I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS but google only does 5 either way GREAT JOB!!!!!

My friend and I have enjoyed many meals in Cambridge and decided to explore Row 34.
We shared a bluefin tuna tartare appetizer and were wonderfully delighted with its robust taste, and the cornbread, which was prepared in a skillet. I’d order both of them again.
I asked our server, Marianna, for a description of 2 of the entrees, and she clearly knew her menu. Her answers were complete and informative, which was consistent with the excellent level of service she provided all evening.
I had the crispy whole fish (branzini) and there was enough leftover to take home for another meal.
I’d order it again.
The other entrée was the bay scallop risotto; that was more of a “meh” experience.
So, I’d recommend everything we ordered, other than the risotto, and definitely want Marianna as my server when I return.

Definitely would recommend making a reservation for here. Luckily we were able to find a spot at the bar during busy dinner hours! Service was quick and friendly, great about answering questions and addressing any allergy concerns. Food was delicious! Only note I have is about the lobster roll; we wish there was a more generous portion for the price. The size of the coleslaw is a joke.. maybe three bites.

I’ve been a fan of the Congress St location for a long time… but not always easy to get a table. I was elated when they opened a branch in Kendall Sq. I’ve been there a dozen times already. The oysters are amazing and consistently delicious and well prepared - best of Boston. The lobster rolls are as good as any that I’ve ever had (including some iconic Maine locations… gasp!). Great beer and wine list, very good bartenders and spirit selection… attentive service - 5 star experience all the way

Warm butter lobster roll was mid compared to all the other lobster rolls I've had. The brioche bun is definitely better than any other bun I've had, but the lobster itself was just okay. The kettle chips were also just okay.

Hands down they serve the best lobster roll I have ever had. Good drinks and lots of oysters... Oh heaven!

Reasonable menu spread, although my fish stew was a little up and down - undercooked lobster for my taste, and some unopened shellfish, but the stock was tasty. A portion of corn bread is a meal in itself, excellently done and very yummy, which the rest of the table enjoyed too!

Usually pretty good, but avoid the "lobster" bisque. Burnt soup with zero lobster pieces - and pretty sure there were shells blended in.
