Roxy's Grilled Cheese & Burgers

This small, independent burger joint near MIT felt like stepping back into the 1950s. With its retro vibe and even an arcade, it’s the kind of place where the staff are friendly, and the people seem to know each other—it doesn’t feel corporate at all. It gave me the feeling of walking into a scene from Happy Days. The double chicken sandwich was tastier and better-priced than anything from the big chains, and the truffle fries were absolutely delicious. My only regret? I forgot to take photos (but I'll be back so no matter)! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, laid-back spot with authentic charm and great food.

We had a great experience at Roxy’s Grilled Cheese & Burgers in Central Square, Cambridge. We tried the LTO and mushroom burgers, as well as the Central grilled cheese. The burgers were juicy and delicious, and the grilled cheese with pesto sauce was super yummy. The burgers were a little oily for my taste, but you can’t have tasty food without some oil! They also have arcade games and a bar that you can enjoy. Overall, a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal.

Fantastic staff in the kitchen. As for the portly Hispanic front door worker, I asked where the take out section was and he lazily pointed in the direction, identical to the way the characters in the movie Idiocracy behave. Lol. I guess we're there already.

I just found out about this place this week & YESSSS YESS YESSS. Like as an adult, I’m not really a grilled cheese fan. BUT THESE grilled cheeses are to die for! So far my favorite is the Green Muenster. The avocado is so fresh and the bacon and cheese are so savory and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want something quick and tasty. Also, the milkshakes are very yummy as well.
