Shake Shack Harvard Square

I wish I had something good to say. Ordered at the kiosk at 7pm and got a confirmation text. At 7:10 I got a message that the food was ready. At around 8pm, no food yet, I asked for a third time if they could check on my order and they said they lost it and that I could either order again or get a refund. They consistently churned out DoorDash and online orders but multiple people dining in were waiting for at least an hour along with me. The people I came with got their food within 15 minutes.

Yesterday I had ordered 2 shake shack burgers cheesy French fries and the spicy chicken nuggets on uber eats and the uber eats delivery driver went to the wrong house and I had told him to bring me my order to the right house and he was unprofessional and rude about it and when I went to recieved my order from him and I went to take out the food from the bag I found a piece of hair on my burger buns and ghe food was cold and it wasnt tasty at all I will never ever order from this location again.

Great food - I think we visited here about 4 times on our first trip to the USA. Staff are friendly and hardworking. Food is served quickly and with great care. The upstairs area has good seating and window views. Ordered for delivery one night and the food was just as tasty as it was sitting in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

French onion soup burger was solid. Fries are above averagd. Frozen custard was a nice finisher.

Friendly staff, great mushroom burger!

Don't give sauce options if you're not going to give sauces! One of the main problems with shake shack and other chains in Harvard Square is the complete lack of consistency in fulfilling orders.

It's the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. The servers are rude. It takes over an hour to get my order ready. I only ordered a burger and fries. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I was served a coke flat, asked for a refresher one that never was never served because the machine was down, the lady maybe manager, went to “fix it” I took her a while then came back asking what I need? She answered herself mentioning the coke and went back to “fix the issue” when she came back she apologized saying there was no more coke, asked me if I wanted another beverage and told her “no” and then she offered a refund and I said yes because I had enough, then she asked me again if I was sure that I didn’t want anything else? Then I asked if I could have a milkshake and told me no because that was more expensive, I said that was good then, and asked me again “what milkshake did I want? And I said that I was ok just with the refund, then when I was out of sight I was getting water and I heard the lady explaining the situation to the coworkers and laugh about it. Love shake shack but I’m not planning to go through that again. Staff should be trained to not talk about the customers mostly when they are the ones doing it wrong.
