Mediocre food. Rotisserie chicken was cold and dry, burgers weren’t smashed and lacked flavor, brownie tasted like cosmic brownies, vanilla ice cream tasted cheap. Service was okay, nothing special.

Came for an early Brunch - all but empty at 845 Sat. Helpful friendly staff. Eclectic diverse customers. Food was pretty good, hearty servings, but rather ordinary. Definitely good for a meal if you are nearby.

I was so desperately craving a giant egg sandwich with sweet bread and bacon and cheese and I was dropping my husband off at work and just decided to try Shy Bird. The sandwich was everything I wanted. I closed my eyes it was so delicious. I also ordered an English Breakfast tea and it came with its own little kettle and was so pleasant. The breakfast sandwich is absolutely amazing. It was so good I ate it before I thought to take a picture.

Great location, food was good. Wait staff seemed a bit spacey-we waited a good 20 minutes before we someone came to our table-wait staff would be conversing with each other and then the patrons would be like an after thought sort of like "oh yeah! i forgot about them!" they were friendly though!

All I can say is that the half bird chicken is excellent. The seasoning on the skin is fantastic and the meat is so tender. I love it and I get it every time. There's also a wide selection of cocktails and drinks which I appreciate.

Beware that this establishment charges a mandatory 4% "kitchen administration fee".I had a fantastic experience here. Great food, amazing service and absolutely loved our server, and an awesome atmosphere. Everything was awesome.. until I got the bill. Don't get me wrong, it's not overpriced or expensive, but a mandatory kitchen fee communicates to me that this establishment is not financially sound and is incapable of paying their employees. Patrons already pay for the front of the house's wages because they deny their excellent workers a fair wage. And this establishment wants patrons to pay the wages of the back of the house as well. This is a deceptive business practice and I will not return until they find a way to run a sustainable business model, no matter how good the food or service is.

Adding yet another great review for another year in a row! Brought a big group of 14 for a birthday and everything from the service to the food was superb. The staff here seems to always go out of their way for us and the space is the perfect blend of trendy with not too expensive. The piri piri is spicy and delicious, and the butternut soup was great as well

Wow roast chicken sandwich was moist and tasty. Best chicken sandwich I have had in years. Better than chikfila. Fried were light, fresh and tasty. Cheaper than food at MIT. Thanks for restoring my faith in ordering a chicken sandwich.

Extremely rude manager/hostess and extremely kid unfriendly. We had a reservation for 11:45am on a Sunday, we arrived at 11:40am and were told by the person at the door that our table would be ready within 5min. The person was extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming and did not even say hi or smile at us. A few people arrived after us who didn’t have reservations and were told the same as us about a 5min wait. The person at the front then asked us to wait in the back area for our table so we went over there with our toddler and stroller. We waited until noon (15min past our reserved time) and we kept seeing people who came in after us and without reservations, get seated before us.At noon, I went in and asked to speak to the manager about the situation, finally at this point there was a table for us. meanwhile, this table had been cleaned and empty for 10min but they didn’t seat us until we went in and started asking to speak to the manager.Just unprofessional and they seem disorganized and unapologetic about it. Food was meh as others have said.
