Tried the North Shore Beef sandwich at this Cambridge location as someone who's familiar with the original North Shore versions.
While it's a decent option if you're craving this style of sandwich and can't make it to the coast, it doesn't quite capture the authentic experience.
The flavors are there, but something about the execution - whether it's the bread, the seasoning, or the overall preparation - falls short of what you'd get at the original spots. It's serviceable
if you're in the area and have the craving, but manages to be just okay rather than memorable.

Stopped by on a whim while biking through the area. The nice man taking my order gave me some recommendations. The chicken wrap I had was absolutely delicious! I will be back soon to try other items.

The junior roast beef sandwich was, by far, the best meal I had visiting Cambridge this week. Skampa checks all the boxes as a classic real-deal dining institution. Everything I hoped for and then some.
Nice large helping of pasta for only $12. I ordered Alfredo with chicken and broccoli and the guy explained what they have isn't Alfredo from cream but but from oil and I said SEND IT. Foods delicious, feels original like there's some old Italian grandma in back whippin it up. Id recommend

Nasty food chicken tenders were dry definitely not real chick roast beef was horrible brown beef tons of mayo fries were stale steak an cheese bland and chewed spend your money else where low quality food
Came for the beef sandwich was not disappointed. The portions are huge. Beef is shaved wicked thin. Not overcooked. Proper James river sauce is generously applied. Will be back.

I placed an order online and they did not receive it. Once I arrived Staff quickly started to make my order. Although The Onion Rings were Fantastic!! The orders were Huge so I had plenty left over.Prices were very reasonable.No bathroom for customers. ☹️Easy to find. Reasonable Parking.
Parking: I picked my order up around 3-3:30pm. There was ample parking across the street. I’d anticipate the parking would be more difficult to manage at more popular times.

The SEAFOOD (HADDOCK) specifically was “OUT OF THIS WORLD”! I got extra tarter and lemon with no problems. Honestly it’s hard to find a good and FRESH seafood place especially where the portions are large and the bill small. My husband got Roast Beef dinner he LOVED it!!!! Thanks guys….keep up the awesome job please….
