Glad I took the wrong bus stop and stumbled upon this place. The shawarma and dolmas were great and I loved the selection of ready made items they had.

The best bakery this side of Charles River.
Lovely coffee shop with good pastries. The staff were friendly and it was a nice place to sit for a little bit

Love Sofra! Everything I have had from there I have thoroughly enjoyed. The falafel, in particular, is delicious and the baked goods are always a treat.
The one critique I have is simply the layout. It's a small spot and it's typically VERY busy, especially on weekends, and it can get very congested. There isn't a great method for moving people through the shop, which contributes to the congestion.
Otherwise, I highly recommend stopping by and either staying to enjoy your food or grabbing something to go. You won't be disappointed!
Vegetarian options: Falafel, shakshuka, dips, pastries.

I think it’s a great fusion spot with a diverse selection of food for every dietary restriction
Although, I think the food was mid. The flavors were less Middle Eastern, and more American than anything.
The atmosphere and service were great though!

This is one of the best bakeries in the area, the breakfast/brunch options are all amazing. Family and friends revere it, and the owner has a reputation for taking good care of her employees to make sure they have a sustainable lifestyle. It's not cheap, but there's probably not anything on the menu you can order that doesn't taste home-made. The seating inside is notably cramped, and if it isn't raining or snowing, you can definitely sit outside. It might not be worth the trip to Boston alone, but if you are visiting, it's well worth the detour.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place does not seem to be wheelchair accessible, it's so busy at times it's barely accessible by humans with some flexibility.

Went hear for breakfast. Ordered the iced coffee, borekfast and the sweet cheese blueberry Danish.
The Danish was very good and balanced. The borekfast was lacking in filling. About half the bites didn't have filling. The half that did have filling was amazing.
The coffee and Danish were priced well. Given the borekfast was lacking in filling, the price seemed high.
There was a lineup when I arrived, but the service was quick and friendly.
We went on a busy weekend afternoon, so it was a little squished. Food was great! We tried the lamb wrap, the borek and the dips. The special elite was amazing though difficult to eat in a tighter space- the corn was so juicy we sprayed the people next to us. Would definitely be back. The drinks were really nice though I will avoid the sumac one next time.

Love this bakery! Their cilbir is my favorite. You can't go wrong with the pastries!
This place is popular so it can be hard to get a table, but if you are patient it's usually fine. It's first come first serve.

If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for? The place is way too tiny for the crowds it gets, but is 100 percent worth the wait. Don’t miss the tahini donuts on weekends.

We went to Sofra for lunch/brunch as my daughter always insisted that "they have the best dips". Sofra is a Turkish bakery/cafe - crowded with limited seating area and it's NOT halal.
So, we tried the dips - they were OK, and you can get dips of such quality (or even better) at any other Mediterranean restaurant in Boston area. We also tried the kebbeh, falafel, chicken shawerma, cheese pie and potatoes - everything was below average. Even the baklava was not fresh.
For the amount of money I spent, I could have had a proper lunch menu at any other Turkish halal restaurant.
Certainly not my kind of place.

Waited 40 minutes for them to say they didn’t have the yogurt needed for the food I ordered? Worst experience of all time
