State Park is my fav local bar. It’s a great place to catch up with friends and meet people in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. The ambiance is one of the best in Cambridge. This place is a classic and must stay for the community.

Absolutely love this spot. A great service but not too many frills attitude, you can do everything from a quiet dinner in the side room to a lively evening at the bar.Drinks wise, you can get everything from a pint under 4 bucks (rarity in Boston) to creative cocktails.Nashville hot chicken is to die for (do heed their warnings that it's very hot) but I've yet to order anything that disappointed.The only knock I have is a 20% back of house service surcharge is applied. It's well advertised so it doesn't bother me too much, but I despise that business model (just increase the menu prices instead).

This place has more character than most in Cambridge - we come here before/after movies (lets be honest, before, bc we're officially old) and have seen beat-making events, backgammon meetups, and just general great vibes.Add onto that the unique menu (hot chicken!) and interesting drink list...I'm just super glad this place exists.
