I visit this special restaurant often as I like the special air that is part of this restaurant. The personel is awfuly helpful and skilfull. The service is very fast. Not to mention, the food they prepare is first-rate. I visited often and I was always pleased. The pay is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

Got takeout from Suvaai the other day. Really enjoyed the Sri Lankan thali which I got with goat curry. The meat was cooked perfectly and was one of the best goat dishes I've ever had. I also got the idly with sambar which was very comforting and delicious. The Sri Lankan fish rolls were super tasty as well. I will be ordering from here again. Highly recommend!

As someone who grew up eating homemade Sri Lankan food, I would like to think of myself as an authority in this type of food. This restaurant has EXCELLENT food and a really kind owner/chef. My favorites are the indiappa thali (all the vegetables that come with it are so good), and the Lamprais (I usually get chicken -- they have vegetarian, and lamb too I think). For the Lamprais you have to order 24 hours in advance -- which means you can't order it on the normal delivery apps. I don't have a car and yet the Lamprais is so good that at least three times during the pandemic so far, I've ordered it in advance and took the bus/train over there to pick it up. You should try it!

Ordered Veg Biryani Suvaai. First of all there were no vegetables. It was some sticky rice mixed with some Chinese sauce with some capsicum. Terrible taste and quality for the price they charged.
I ordered chicken biryani from this place. I literally gagged at the texture of the biryani. It was more like sticky rice mixed in biryani masala. Any half decent recipe on youtube would have yielded a better biryani. One of the worst places in my experience. I don't know how they have the audacity to call their recipe a Biryani. It was nothing more than macerated rice.

Having been my first order I got a variety of items to try with husband. The Gobi 65 and chicken manchurian were tasty and filling. The Lamb Samosa was great but little too spicy for me. For the veg rice and curry rice thali combo, we received a chickpea/carrot curry and potatoes, yet we were expecting two curries and salad. We would recommend and try more dishes next time.

I love Suvaai!!! Feel so lucky to have a Sri Lankan restaurant near me. Pumpkin curry, chickpea preparations, and puttu are my favorites. The family running Suvaai are super super nice too. Highly recommend!
