But they've recently hired an extremely unfriendly staff member who has managed to single-handedly drive us away. We'll keep peeking in the window to see if she's there. This is easily one of the best seafood emporiums on the east coast: impeccable fresh fruits of the sea, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, delicious house-made specialities, and a track record of decades of excellent service. You can't go wrong here.

These people know their Fish!!!! Came in for live lobsters but they dont carry. Left with 2lb mussels and a dozen littlenecks AND a tip on where to find lobstah. (Alive and Kicking on Putnam St). I will return I super liked this place.

The Fishmonger sells the freshest fish, as well as delicious prepared fish dishes. Their poached salmon is perfection!
If you want the best seafood in Boston this is where to go. The prepared dishes are incredible.
