Service could have been better. I had a reservation at 7:30pm alone and my server took 15 minutes to get to me. All else is fine.
Will go back ..some foods needed additions like wasabi, soy sauce, and was not part of order but all in all good. Cornbread order is a must!
Our server was amazing. Very friendly, informative and eager to ensure a great dining experience. The food tonight was a little “off”: the Jonah Crab fritters were good but not incredible as usual (I get them every season!) and the green goddess salad was warm and wilted, instead of crisp and crunchy, which a Goddess should always be. Sadly the desserts were limited due to soft serve machine issues. Was really anxious to try the maple cream dessert shake.
We love this restaurant. It is small and has a bar, so can be quite lively in the evening. But we were there this time for lunch at it was excellent. Not too loud, great food, and very helpful staff. The raw oysters are outstanding. We had the haddock sandwich, clam chowder, lobster bisque, and a smash burger which were all excellent. In the past I've loved the fish and chips, the mussels (starter), and the lobster roll.
We had a party of six and were seated in a very nice high-top booth. The appetizers and entrees were excellent and very delicious. The cocktails were also very good - and the bar service was excellent. All in all, the food was delicious and we all had a great meal. The only negatives: We all felt that the server assigned to our table was not very attentive and didn't check in on us very often. There was a smoke detector alarm that sounded off during our cocktails (before dinner had arrived), and we had to evacuate the building into the rain. The fire department came, the smoke detector alarm was reset, and we were allowed back in for dinner. Nothing at all was comped for this inconvenience - we all thought that at least a drink would be offered. The food was too good not to go back. I doubt that the smoke alarm will act up again. They deserve another opportunity to provide an excellent experience.
Everything was excellent! The lobster roll had so much lobster, the bread was so buttery, and the vibe was perfect for brunch.
From the start, staff was very responsive to provide a quiet table, because I had noted hearing issues on my reservation. My wife and I started with the Green Goddess salad which was absolutely wonderful. (not vinegary, and ample to share.) The wine portions were good. I had roasted Oysters; my wife had Mussels. We were both happy with our choices. I decided to add a few Littlenecks to round out the meal. (also very good) I had also noted on the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, (married 60 years), so I wasn't too surprised when an ice cream cup with chocolate arrived with our check. The service was attentive and with style, like changing silverware between courses. This special occasion more than met our expectations. We will certainly be returning!
First time at this restaurant and we will be back. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Good wine choices and service was great
We tried out the crispy brussel sprouts and shrimp cocktail to start and the lobster roll for the main. Starters were good. Orange Sauvignon was delicious. Service was good but the lobster roll was not really to our taste and expensive for a few pieces of cold lobster in a sandwich which greasy fries.
The food was exceptional. The lobster bisque was out of this world. The cafe style ambiance is quaint with lovely tasteful decor touches. We had several appetizers and entrees along with a cocktail or two. Everything was delightful and an incredible experience. I would happily return.

We enjoy coming here for dinner. Food is always good and the servers are courteous and friendly.
Everything was excellent. Brussel sprouts outstanding! French press coffee - outstanding! Peach crumble - well, outstanding! Friendly service, nice ambiance. My first five star review in a while...
The service is beyond and you can tell the restaurant values customers’ time. We waited for our table a little after our reserved time and the restaurant compensated us with free calamari and dessert which goes to show their appreciation for customers. Their lobster roll is amazing and 100% worth the price

Delicious food, we walked in without a reservation for lunch. Had the oyster special where you get 2 of each of the 8 daily special oysters (16 total) for $45 - great price to try so many. Also had a salad !
Service was a bit slow but very friendly
Turned up at 6pm with no reservation but was immediately sat at the bar, and was served by a lovely woman who was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. Delicious oysters, and would highly recommend the scallops and swordfish schnitzel as mains.
