Not only is this the only bar with TVs in the area to watch any sports - it’s a damn good one! Great food and stellar Guinness. I confidently recommend the buffalo wings and the fish & chips! Jack, the bartender, was the man! Fun night ??

It was okay. The food was tasty and the service was good, but it was expensive and we were still kinda hungry when we left. Even with having an appetizer.

Went to the Locke Bar for lunch and thought the menu had a great variety of choices. I had 2 appetizers for my lunch (lamb & hummus and the Brussels sprouts) and my husband got the burger. The lamb & hummus was tasty. The lamb was shredded and served with pine nuts and pita. It was a great flavor balance with the pita. The Brussels were crisp and flavorful, I enjoyed every bite. My husband is picky about burgers and thought the Locke burger was perfectly cooked and the sauce on it added a nice punch. I tried a couple of fries and they had a great crunch. I will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.

I visited Locke Bar last night. I am a pure vegetarian. I ordered a Rigatoni & Tomato Cream which is vegetarian. The server mixed up my order and instead gave me Bolognese which was non vegetarian. I had a little bit and realized something was off. When I asked the server she said this is not vegetarian its the Bolognese. She said oh the server has mixed up your order. There was no further apology, no other way of trying to make this up. For a strict vegetarian being served a meat dish and then having eaten that is an awful experience. I wish the restaurant and server were more respectful and understanding of this. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.

Went on a Thursday night ~7pm and was surprised by how busy this place was! We managed to get a table quickly but I think the next available table was one hour after us. Cocktails are decent and you can tell they put thoughts into the recipes with some uncommon ingredients like smoked tea, pear purer and etc. We got three appetizers: the Brussels sprouts was amazing! Good portion and fried to perfect texture but not greasy. Hummus and lamb tasted a bit spicy with the chili oil and I wish the pita bread was warm. Good flavor with the addition of raisin! Fried calamari is ok, I might not order it again because the portion was not as good as say Cheesecake Factory . Overall I enjoyed this place and would recommend to my friends and colleagues.
Little warm, but outstanding food and drinks. Save room for dessert, too! The toffee pudding is out of this world!

My wife and I originally went to Locke Bar for her birthday about a month ago and had an initial lackluster experience. Subsequently, we were contacted by the manager, Conor, who was quite gracious and generously invited us back for another chance to experience the restaurant. We returned the other night and had a fantastic time. Conor was not there, but the manager working that night, Pete, came over, introduced himself, and was quite courteous and professional in thanking us for our return. We had a fantastic meal. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips which was cooked well. I had the steak tips which were cooked to order and came topped with cherry bomb peppers, roasted baby potatoes, and broccoli rabe. It was quite good. We ended the evening with the chocolate lava cake for dessert and will be making Locke bar a regular haunt. Thanks to our server, Pete, and Conor for making this an enjoyable, belated birthday.
