Is it just me or do I think this worker just hates working here. I went in to order a boba and the first thing I see is this young man sitting while on his phone as I enter and giving me a look. I was like confused why the look and then I order and he was very slow to make my order. I place my order and as I wait, it takes him a minute to get off his phone before he makes my drink. After everything has been sealed and cleaned, he just slams down the drink on the counter and sits down and goes back on his phone. If he hates working, maybe he should quit and be let go for his behavior. Why even let someone like him work here. If you hate the job then quit, no one said you have to work here. I'd much rather be in the Allston (a bus ride will get me there) or Chinatown location as they're way more friendly there.

i never leave 1 star reviews but my experience was actually so disappointing; asked for less ice and i received about half the quantity of drink and no ice, and the drink was very poorly made itself; there was sugar all over the outside of my cup and the boba was one giant clump like it wasnt even properly cooked

Wow, what an experience at this Tiger Sugar today. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure I felt unwelcome—so rare these days! As for the milk tea, I guess they’re going for that exclusive “watered down” flavor that no one asked for. And how thoughtful of them to fill the cup only halfway, even with light ice—conserving resources, I assume? The cream was practically invisible, but maybe that’s just their way of keeping it low-calorie.
I’ve had Tiger Sugar in New York before, and it was so good that I decided to try it again here in Boston, but this tasted like it came from a knock-off store. Truly, a groundbreaking take on bubble tea. Can’t wait to not come back!

Service ruined our day, went there Sunday around 1:30pm (10/14/24) in case management wanted to check who’s working. He said no cash allowed (I was holding a 20 for 2 drinks, I get it if he doesn’t have change, but I don’t think “no cash” would have been what he should have said), as we stood on the side waiting for our order, 3 people paid cash after us. He put our orders on the counter in front of us, and yelled something in audible that the 4 people, me included, waiting for our orders just looked confused and proceeded to check who’s is which, I looked for ours but didn’t take the 2 drinks remaining on the counter as they were the wrong drinks (no.1 and 3) we ordered drinks no.1 and 2, so we waited for at least another 5mins, as the guy was just standing in front of us, didn’t at all acknowledge that we are still there waiting for the drinks, it was obvious he knew we were waiting as we were the only ones who ordered before he took more orders, finally I asked the guy if it was our order the wrong drinks on the counter, looking annoyed as he tried to ignore the first time I asked, I asked again then he said yes, he left the counter to make the other customers orders, I didn’t even bother to have him change the wrong drink he made us, as we don’t want anymore of his bad energy. The drink was ok, I don’t think I’m ever gonna go back.

The jumbo boba picture is a huge scam. The jumbo boba is really big but still not picture perfect. Believe me that was to good to be true,And the milk teas had way too much milk.

Dirty and worst service at this location. If you want tiger sugar skip this one and go to the one Chinatown and Allston. Everytime I give this place a chance they barely have anything on their menu in stock. I mobile ordered tea with foam and when I got my tea there was no foam, just a strangely thin curdled layer ? the employee said it was like that "cause you took too long to pick up" when I had just placed the order while standing outside the store literally 3 minutes ago. Also my oolong tea was incredibly watered down. The other tiger sugar locations are so much better. I'm never coming here again, this place is a hot mess

The rating is based on the service that I had received, not based on the product. When I waited in line to order, the young male cashier just rudely told us to use the kiosk. When asked for napkins, he responded very rudely again and said they did not have napkins. How does a food establishment not have napkins? Very rude service all throughout, but the boba was fine.

My boba had spoiled milk in it! I didn't ask for a refund because I am too much of a wimp, but be warnnnneddd; THERE IS SPOILED MILK IN YOUR BOBA!!!
I visited him today at 8:17 in the afternoon I asked for four and the boy attended me in a very rude way then I wanted to ask for one more and I said sorry one more and he told me no sorry and he ignored me he left the front I would like to give zero stars that's why the boy is racist he has not only happened to me but with several people I know and who have a hard time speaking English!!! I won't be back there, I'm sorry!!!

Best boba in Harvard Square! Would reccomend.The drinks are very tasty, staff is accommodating to changes, they always provide quick service.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options. Staff knew how to make the drink vegan and which drinks could not be made vegan, oat milk was a great replacement.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan, they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. They have oat milk!

I genuinely do not understand why there is this much dissatisfaction with this place. I dropped by on a Sunday evening, placed an order at one of the kiosks, and my drink was ready in less than 5 mins. The two ladies working behind the counter were friendly and patiently answered my queries. Got the black sugar cocoa drink which I enjoyed it very much. The boba are the best of any bubble tea chain store, with the right amount of chew and sweetness. Just note that street parking is always very limited.

I made a mobile order, came to the store after receiving ready to pickup, and no one there in the store. The staff just left a note saying will be back in 15 mins. Have waited over 15 mins and no one back?
