Great wait staff, attentive without being overbearing. Food was very tasty and appreciated the splitting of plates beforehand making sharing plates much easier. Just a little note: toasted pine nuts on the beet salad could be a nice addition.

What a fun evening. My wife and I were able to reconnect with three other couples for a delightful dinner. The restaurant was very accommodating to work with us to expand our reservation from 6 to 8 people. We were seated at a high-top along the wall in the bar area, which worked out just fine, although a bit loud as you might expect in the bar of a popular restaurant. Our server, James, expertly managed our group, and was attentive without being intrusive. Best of all, the food was amazing. Most of our group had one of the two fish specials, one had a vegetarian dish and the other a pasta. After some shared appetisers, wines by the glass and a few shared desserts, the price was quite reasonable. My grilled halibut and grilled vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. Wow - we will be back, and highly recommend Toscano in Cambridge.

Two of our meals were not up to par and I should have sent them back. We should have kept the Striga reservation in the North End. Read on... We moved out of Cambridge 10 years ago and haven't been to Toscano since. It was lovely to get back into Harvard Square and dine at one of our old favorite spots! Food was just as delicious as we remembered!!
