We enjoyed great dinner with a mushroom pizza, penne pasta, vongole pasta, and steak. The atmosphere was cool also.
Incredible food and service. Very impressed. Went with a group, made reservations which I highly recommend. Cocktails are excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Valentine’s Day with the family was celebrated with a great Italian restaurant.
We started of our night with Tuscan Red Wine from Montalcino region suggested by our server Tomas.
For appetizers:
• 2 Dozen Oysters. Tiny but fresh and they went out fast!
• Calamari in Gratella was amazing! They were grilled and perfectly cooked squid’s. Splash of lemon and a sprinkle of salt.
• Cesare Salad was delicious! Always a must order and not overpowered with so much dressing.
• Chicken Liver Pate in Crostini brought me back memories of when my grandma used to make them back in the day. Perfect seasoning.
For entrée:
• Rigatoni Norcina was amazingly delicious! Perfect amount of truffle flavor. Every bite was definitely enjoyed!
For dessert:
• Créme Caramel AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not good at all
• Tiramisu HIGHLY disappointed. If you’re looking for the typical classical tiramisu; this is not it! It’s literally ice cream with coffee flakes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
• Panna Cotta was the best dessert we had.

Mediocre Italian food but nice setting. Avoid the pizza. The pastas and meat dishes are better. Our side of broccolini was excellent.

Good extremely below average. Pesto pasta too oily and Pizza crust is terrible
Some dishes are better than others. Bolognese excellent. Seafood pasta- bland. Nice to have warm bread. Service is attentive. A pretty good mid-tiered Italian with a built-in Harvard clientele, so no real incentive to be great. But they are good and consistent.
This is one of our favorite fine dinning places. We love it and my family takes me there every year on my birthday. We love it! The staff is outstanding!!

The food was great; however, one surprising aspect was the way the service was handled. The server repeatedly asked if we were done eating in order to clear our plates. They first asked once, we said no. The second time I said it was fine to take the plates, and even the third time, they asked my friend if she was done. I found this a bit rude, as it felt like we were being rushed to finish and leave. I understand if there were people waiting to be seated, but it was a Tuesday night with plenty of available tables and no one waiting at the door. Generally, servers can gauge if someone is finished by cues such as placing cutlery on the side of the plate. In our case, the cutlery wasn't placed that way, so we were clearly still eating. I think the service team could benefit from training on reading guests' cues more effectively, so that diners don't feel rushed unnecessarily.
Apologies for the delayed review from our October team dinner. Special thanks to Cassie Messmer and the staff there at Toscano in Harvard Square for the service and the amazing food. Attendees were all very happy. THANK YOU!

We go to Toscano regularly after shows at the A.R.T. nearby and the food never disappoints. Great cocktails and wines too. A classic.
Great food and service on a cold winter night.

This was our first time at Toscano and it was fabulous. Food, service, ambiance= perfect in every way!
Terrific Italian food with a good selection of vegetarian options, especially the yummy minnestrone soup. Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, tasty bread. I have been here multiple times and always enjoy it.
