We (four of us) routinely eat at Toscano before A.R.T. For some reason the food yesterday did not measure up to your usual high standards. Here are the specifics: Chicken livers: mealy texture throughout (should be crisp on outside, soft on inside) Pizza: mediocre Calamari: mixed review. One diner thought they were excellent, the other found them look warm and rubbery. We'll be back.
We had a fantastic time at Toscano! The service was on point without being overbearing. The food was exceptional. They paid close attention to food allergies some in our party had. Highly recommend!
Toscano's in Harvard Square: perfect for a date night, girls night, special occasion, or any night! Food and wines were fresh, bountiful, delicious; server was attentive and timed everything perfectly. I will absolutely dine here again when next in town.
