My favorite place for special occasions- the food is exceptionally good, and the staff are wonderful. The sake pairings add to the experience. Sit at the counter if you have the choice- watching how the dishes are constructed is amazing.
I went with 2 friends who love sushi, as do I. The food (18 courses) was delicious and served at a nice pace. We sat at the counter and it was interesting to see the items prepared. They told us a little about the fish and showed some entire specimens. The room is sparsely decorated but clean and well lit. The staff is friendly. We were the only group that wasn't celebrating a special occasion, which makes sense considering the price tag. We went the day after Thanksgiving...
Incredible dining experience! I would like to keep this a best kept secret before word gets out and I can't get a resy. But I also want everyone to know about this place and come experience their magic.
