Incredible food at the Chef’s Table. Amazing coordination between staff in a small space. Very friendly and accommodating. Probably the best meal I have ever had and I didn’t choose any of the courses!
Food was good, but not amazing for the price

Chef Erin Miller's food has rightly been singled out as some of the best in the country, with a well-deserved James Beard nomination for Best Chef Northeast. General Manager Abigail Taylor leads a front-of-house team who provide a warm, personalized experience that will turn any occasion into an unforgettable event. We'll be back!
Stunned by this incredible farm to table meal. The drinks and food was extraordinary. They also accommodated my gluten free and dairy free dietary restrictions really well! My friend who was celiac had absolutely no problems. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

A small gem of a restaurant. Owners and staff who take food and service seriously, while showing creativity and personality. It was hard to choose from the menu because all of it sounded good to me. Luckily we had a small group and were able to get several plates. I had the duck breast and others had the seafood. Both were excellent but I thought the seafood was fantastic. The wine list is also great and their cocktails are fun. Tough times for all restaurants right now. This is one you should support. East outside and bring a blanket if need be (they also have hear lamps).
Update: even better now in my opinion more polished somehow while without pretension. The ceviche was a standout and the broccoli was perfect.
Dietary restrictions: Took care of my no-gluten preference with no problem.

We had the mushroom dinner with Tyler Akabane and it was phenomenal. Jack was a wonderful host and was a delightful add-on to delicious food made by passionate people. Would return!

my boyfriend took me on a (surprise) dinner date here for our anniversary & we had a wonderful time! ☻
our reservation was at 5:30 & we were the first + only ones in the restaurant for a while but we didn’t feel awkward, intrusive, or out of place. we were initially greeted by manager abby who made us feel very welcome.
the food was delicious!! & our server jack (?) was excellent & gave a lot of great recommendations + advice. he was also fun to talk to and put us at ease.
we plan to come back again (^з^)-☆

Wow, what a fabulous evening for the two of us! So glad we found this wonderful and welcoming gem. The space is nice but utilitarian, however the food and the service are the stars of the experience. The menu is very focused innovative creations that are superb and memorable journeys of flavors that often we have not seen before, but that work so well together. All dishes feature local and super-fresh ingredients, which makes all menu items so successful. Although the website highlights the locally sourced ingredients, in our mind that's only half of what makes this so special!

I dined at Urban Hearth for the first time recently with a couple friends. It is a really calming and intimate environment. They take great care with every detail, from the most comfortable seating I've ever had dining, to the thought provoking plating, it just all felt so planned, and executed perfectly. The staff are well versed in the menu, which is impressive since it changes with what's seasonally available. The food was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed 2-3 shared plates per person as we couldn't decide what not to order. The beet carpaccio was a favorite of mine. Each bite brought a new texture and taste, between the candied hazelnuts, pepita spread, and hyssop. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the new creations they make when it's true gourd season.

Eating at Urban Hearth with a dear friend was an exceptional experience. Not only was the food beautifully presented as we ate at the counter overlooking the chefs, yet we also had the pleasure to be asked how are meals were by the chefs themselves and the wait staff. The ambience was intimate and the food was deliciously surprising with varied textures and spices. I will be returning soon so my husband and I can also experience this together. Bravo!
The experience was amazing. I loved being able to interact with the chefs and learn about the ingredients. I am still thinking about the scallop crudo with cantaloupe sauce SPECTACULAR!!
In June this year we hosted our family and close friends for dinner at Urban Hearth after my son’s remembrance service. Urban Hearth were so incredibly kind in mostly shutting down the restaurant for us on a Saturday night, showing us such warmth and love on this sad occasion. The food was incredible, the service perfect, and above all providing an environment in which we could nourish our hearts and souls. Thank you for giving us this.

What a gem that's a bit under the radar. Pricey but worth y it. The food is deceptively simple in presentation but goodness the combinations of ingredients and flavors are exceptional. Will return
This restaurant pretends to have food that is fresh and seasonal. However, we had old flavorless tuna, woody and overly dry chanterelles, and over the hill green beans. The flavor combinations were off and overall I found the food unpleasant to eat. I can;t imagine why anyone would pay for this food. The wine list is too small and too odd. I should have rejected the wine we ordered but did not want to make a stink about it. (It was fizzy when it shouldn't have been). Also, the service was slow. We had five dishes in a meal that took two hours.
