Love the vegan options at veggie galaxy. Their vegan shakes and desserts are so delicious. I always try something new when I go, endless options, great for vegetarians and vegans ❤️ great environment and kind staff.
Great vibe, really imaginative menu. But the service was really slow, could have easily been a 40-45 minute stop that turned into well over an hour. We ordered a dish with the mac and cheese waffle and it was good, not great.

Wow, it was such a treat to have breakfast at a place with no meat in the U.S.!
Not only is it vegetarian, but almost every dish can be made vegan, which is just amazing!
I had the vegan version of the breakfast burrito and it was super tasty, especially with the roasted Brussels sprouts on the side ,so good. I wasn’t crazy about the slightly sweet sauce, but with a bit of salt and their hot sauce it was perfect.
The waitress was so sweet, and the whole vibe was a 10/10. There’s so much more on the menu I want to try, so I’m definitely coming back!

Great menu, and traditionalism dinner vibes. Warm and cozy and nostalgic.
Smells like a toilet at the tables in the back

Food was really good but not great — it felt like a typical diner experience, just made all vegan. When we went, it was extremely busy, so service took a bit. The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were definitely the highlights — both crispy and flavorful. Overall, a fun spot for comfort food in the Boston area, especially if you’re craving that nostalgic diner feel.
Veggie Galaxy was such a great discovery. As a vegetarian, it felt like paradise to me. The menu is very extensive, the food was delicious, and the interior is amazing. Highly recommended!

I was looking forward to try the place.
The menu offers a lot and not much at the same time.
Took the Buffalo Chicken Mac but the sauce was not good at all. Pastas were okay though.

I would easily give 4.5 stars, but this wasn’t quite 5* by big-city standards. The atmosphere was great with a perfect retro diner vibe. The menu was expansive and reasonably priced, with most of it vegan by default. The mozzarella sticks were good, but just standard (Violife?) cheese with some seasoned panko. The clam chowder was a little bland and needed more mushrooms. The Mac ‘n Stack looked as outrageous as it sounded, and again, was good but lacked that extra ‘something’ to take it to the next level. The Boston cream pie was NOT good, with a thin coconut cream rather than custard and tough cake. Boston was surprisingly lacking in vegan options so I’d probably still recommend a trip to check out this classic, but i wouldn’t go back.

My local friend took me here and it was such a treat to have access to a fully veggie menu. I had the butternut squash soup with toasted pepitas (a special) and blood orange iced tea. 😋
One of the most motivating awards the kids can earn is a trip into Cambridge to eat at Veggie Galaxy.
Great location, old school typical american diner style, love it! The menu is huge and it was sooo hard to choose. Actually everything could be made vegan but I kept it simple and ordered one of the already labeled vegan dishes: The banana bread french toast 🍌🍞 Was very good and nice service too. Highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2025-10-09
