I am not vegan or veggie, but this is a regular spot for me. Its a great vibe, easy to get a seat, and awesome service. This place is a gem

I used to really like Veggie Galaxy, but the last few times the quality has noticeably dropped, while the prices have been steadily rising

A heaven for vegetarians like me. Decor is like classical American Diners of the past. Service is exceptionally good. Menu is vast with tons of keyi, vegan and vegetarian choices. Situated in the heart of Cambridge on Mass Ave. Do not miss when you are in the area.

It is traditional diner menu, but all vegan/vegetarian versions. Very tasty and affordable.

Exceptional vegan/vegetarian dining experience.
The burger and fries are outstanding and merit special mention, alone, and demonstrate a level of quality and care that sets the restaurant apart. However, beyond individual dishes, Veggie Galaxy accommodates a wide range of vegan preferences and dietary needs. The menu is thoughtfully designed, inclusive, and clearly the result of intentional planning.
Additionally, this is a restaurant appeals well beyond vegan and vegetarian needs, as even dedicated meat-eating friends find the food enjoyable, familiar, and indulgent, without feeling that anything is lacking.
Veggie Galaxy is a strong example of how plant-based, compassionate, dining can be both refined and universally appealing. Will return and highly recommend.

Fabulous. My son ordered the tater tot nachos and it was a veritable mountain of deliciousness in epic proportions. Every one absolutely loved it. Great service too.

They were very patient and understanding
It didn’t taste like vegan food at all, but all the flavors and textures was fantastic. Though it was pricey, but comes with it is quality food. I enjoyed every bite. Server was also helpful and friendly with the queueing.

Okay so, this was my first vegan restaurant experience. It wasn't tasty. It was a big jump for me since I have been eating animal products for my whole life. However, the desserts were delicious and the owner gave us a free milkshake since we didn't eat much on our plates.
We went for lunch before going to a show at the A.R.T. I let the host know we needed to be on the road by a certain time. He took such good care of us and we made the show!

Extensive vegan menu, delicious for a date night! Vegan does not equal healthy so come expecting fried, salty, sugary (yummy!) food. I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! We got Oreo cheesecake and tres leche cake. Divine! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-12
