Amazing. Simply amazing. I’m blown away that you can get healthy, delicious plant based food at this quality and price point. Every dish is a hit and the attention to detail is comparable to much “fancier” restaurants. This is high quality food sold fast casual.

Stopped by here - the grilled vegan chicken sandwich was pretty good (legit tasted like an actual crispy chicken sandwich - these folks know what they’re doing with their faux meats) BUT $10 for a single burger with no sides is a bit much. Fries were just okay - they were fresh but nothing really worth bringing home nor talking about (honestly don’t recommend them - if anything, go to Clover’s nearby for their fries to serve as a side with Veggie Grill’s burger). The protein shake was alright but again, pricey.

Also, as a side note: if you’re on a religious vegetarian diet where you can’t eat garlic or onions, might recommend looking elsewhere as a lot of the foods here contain allium.

Got delivery today while it snowed (thank you for being open). And I have been so excited to try this place. I got the ultimate girl dinner. Vegan Cesar salad and vegan nachos. I opted for the extra beans and not a vegan protein. As I am not necessarily a vegan. I just have a dairy allergy. Amazing nachos. Amazing salad. I also got the plant based strawberry sundae (even when it’s snowing yes). And it held up perfectly and was a good sundae. The whipped cream was really good. The little cup was the perfect amount of ice cream. It doesn’t taste coconutty even with it being made with coconut milk. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone!

Great fast food! Prices are creeping up a bit too much, it’s a balance between staying afloat and attracting customers and I hope they find the right balance.

This place charges $9 for about five onion rings. What a joke.

Veggie Grill is my go-to lunch spot in Harvard Square! The staff is always so warm and friendly. The fajita quesadilla, wraps and burgers are absolutely incredible. I’m so grateful to have an all-vegan restaurant in the area, and the quality of their food is consistently top-notch. Absolutely love Veggie Grill! ❤️✨

My chick'n sandwich and fries were delicious- the yo-egg and vegan bacon left nothing to desire! And the fried chick'n was so tasty. The fries were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The ketchup was high-quality and just right. I see what the hype is all about and will definitely be coming back.

I can’t say enough about the kindness and care I received at Veggie Grill in Harvard Square — it honestly turned my whole day around.

I came in after a long hospital appointment, feeling a little worn down, totally famished, and navigating the tricky postpartum world of eating soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free while breastfeeding my newborn. It's not an easy combo to manage when you're hungry and tired... but then Manny, the manager, stepped in like an absolute angel.

From the moment I explained my dietary needs, Manny couldn’t have been more understanding or attentive. He really took the time to go through ingredients, check in the back, modify items to suit my restrictions, and make sure I had something nourishing and safe to eat. It wasn’t just good service — it was genuine care. In a moment where I felt depleted, he made me feel so seen and supported.

There was such warmth in the way he helped — no rush, no eye-rolls, just kindness, patience, and real attention to detail. And thanks to him, I left not only full (finally!) but also a little lighter emotionally. It’s such a small but powerful thing — to feel taken care of like that, especially as a new mom adjusting to so much.

If you have dietary needs — or even if you don’t — this place is a gem. And if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Manny, know that you’re in the best hands.

Thank you, Veggie Grill, and thank you Manny, from the bottom of my (very full) heart!

With my wife, during our trip in Boston, decided to take a look at cambridge and harvard school. We took a break for lunch at veggie grill: we had a lentils soup and a truffle mac and cheese to share, both super tasteful dishes.

I’m sure the food is even better in-person, but this was phenomenal after a 60 minute DoorDash trip to the Seaport! The mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and chicken bacon ranch sandwich were great. With the meat and cheese analogs available now, my bar for burgers is pretty high, but the steakhouse burger was a truly next-level combination of flavors and textures. The truffle mac and loaded fries were good, but nothing special. It all made great hotel leftovers as well!
