Really great experience from start to finish. Server we had was terrific, everyone's food was amazing, had no problem getting a reservation for a party of 8 on Saturday evening. Ambiance is lively, noisy but in a good way. Very easy to talk despite the noise level. Will definitely go again when back in Cambridge.
Waypoint was such a great experience. The décor is great, the vibe matches the food perfectly, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The clam pizza was outstanding and full of flavor, and the cacio e pepe lobster pasta was rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with fresh homemade pasta. The branzino with salsa verde finished everything off beautifully. The only thing to note is that the high-top seating can get uncomfortable after a while, and the footrest...
We had such a good time here during the Harvard family weekend. I liked the table size which was small enough to have a good conversation but also big enough for the dishes to share. We had a grilled branzino which was worth every penny even though it was a bit pricey. Generous size fish was very very fresh. The salad and potato on the side were so good too. The salmon dish was delightful, and the burrata was so yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant.
