I think this place gave my boyfriend food poisoning. Very disappointing. After leaving the restaurant, his stomach was hurting bad and he almost threw up on the ride home. Once he got home, he was throwing up a LOT. I’m guessing it was the “homemade lemonade” since him and his friend both got pizza and his friend was fine. Wouldn’t recommend going here and risk food positioning.

As a New Yorker, was hesitant to get pizza this far from home but was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service was great. Even hit us with a couple of jokes. I'd go back if I were in town. Definitely one of the best food options in the area.

I went for lunch and the restaurant wasn't very busy. The staff was really kind and took the time to answer our questions about the food. Lots of people on Google seemed to enjoy the mac n cheese pizza, so we decided to try it, and it was delicious! The pasta on the pizza actually worked really well with the oniony cheese sauce. I thought the lager was also very good, and my husband enjoyed the homemade lemonade even though it's more on the tart side rather than the sweet side. It was a great place to eat and spend time enjoying Boston!
Dietary restrictions: We asked for a custom pizza due to dietary restrictions and the staff went out of their way to make sure we got the correct order.

The pizza at Za is pretty good. They’re a good size to split with one person or for yourself. I got the pepperoni pizza and enjoyed it. The service was atrocious. During a work lunch at Za, the server barked at us that he was “the only one on and we better have our drink and order ready when he comes back.” That was the only time we saw our server except for when the check came. It said on the menu parties of 6 or more would get a 20% automatic gratuity, which I am fine with, if we see our waiter. He never came to ask how the food was and the manager had to give us a refill, after we tried multiple times to flag our waiter down. Lastly, when the check came we asked if he could split the check and he laughed in our face and said “if you have another 45 minutes.” We figured it out among the group and he was promptly back to swipe a card. He then weirdly remarked, “you guys must be tourists wanting me to split the check.” To which we replied “no.” He chuckled again and said, “ oh you just must not be from around here.” To which we also replied, “we’re all from Boston, we work around the corner.”He proceeded to check us out using the Toast System. The easiest system possible for a server to split a check on.Very unlikely we will be returning for a work lunch or bringing any clients to Za.
