This is the first review I've ever written (seriously!), and to be honest I'm writing it as I sit here with a friend of mine looking at the website, talking about miscellaneous stuff (like me not having ever written a review), and I was telling her about when my partner and I went to Zuzu's Petals a couple of years ago (my friend will be in Cambridge soon and I was giving her a recommendation).

We love this place! We're not regulars as we only go to Boston occasionally to see my partner's sister and family, but whenever we're in town we try to go at least one night. It's so refreshing to have a space with no phones, at least for a little while, YA KNOW?!? Of course I'm writing this on a screen, so the irony is not lost on me, but a break from screens? I'll take it.

Last time we were there the record player (vinyl, of course!) was playing Bowie, Stones among others - again, refreshing to hear full albums - and I think we had a cheese plate and few glasses of wine and of course dessert. It's always been a nice time for us and we highly recommend! And thus dear reader we reach the conclusion of my post: my friend and I both agree, since I'm sharing this restaurant suggestion with her, why not share it with the world?!?!? (Like I said, it's my first time and this was fun to write...)

One of my favorite spots in Cambridge! Service was amazing and the wines are fantastic. Maggie was our server and she was the best!

I personally did not feel that the amount I paid was worth the Zuzu’s experience. The servers are nice and the place is cute but I could not in good conscience give Zuzu’s anything more than 1 star. The food and drinks are outrageously overpriced. Imagine spending $20 for a brownie and a scoop of ice cream, and the brownie comes out cold and hard. Then imagine eating your $20 brownie and ice cream at a table so close to the street your hair blows when cars or even bikers pass. It’s a shame because the place is cute but the gap between the price point and what they actually provide shows they are not interested in building a community staple where people return to. My friends and I went once and will not be back.

Delicious desserts and a phenomenal wine selection set in a candle-lit, cozy bar — what more could you ask for!

The friendly staff, excellent records, and purple touches give the bar the coziest, "you're exactly where you're supposed to be" feeling.

The tiramisu with the nerocapitano can't be missed!

Charming place for delicious desserts and wine. It is clear that the focus is on quality; what you taste, and the conversations you have (no phones). Quality right down to the dishes and glasses you eat and drink from. It’s a must for a memorable experience.

Zuzu’s has the best desserts. I’ve never had chocolate mousse or brownies like these, they’re insane. I love that they have wine pairings listed for all the food, makes it really easy to have an amazing dining experience. No phone policy is great my friends and I just played cards the whole time. Definitely coming back!

My favorite place to relax with a glass of wine!! I love the no phones rule here. The whole atmosphere encourages connection- cozy seating, table games, and great records. Nice in the winter to warm up (I had a perfect apple crisp yesterday!!) and great patio seating in the summer. Highly recommend!!!

Zuzu’s Petals has the cutest aesthetic, incredible desserts & wine, and outstanding customer service (a combination that is so rare to find these days).

The desserts truly are the best I’ve ever had and pair perfectly with the wine options. The record player, Polaroid pictures on the wall, and cell-phone free environment are subtle touches that contribute to the perfect ambience of Zuzu’s Petals.

The staff and owners are always so friendly and make dining here a full experience. I take any out-of-town visitors to Zuzu’s and they are always impressed, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

This lovely spot is a modern throwback, the opposite of the ubiquitous large sterile restaurant full of people looking at their phones. Service is friendly and personable, the wine selection is fantastic and unique, and the desserts are every bit as good as you would hope they would be. Especially the crème brûlée! It’s casually chic, cozy, fun, and I wish I was there right now!

Cannot wait to frequent this establishment. We walked by and stopped in our tracks and knew immediately this was going to be a big part of our time living in the area. The ambiance is beyond my wildest dreams - people are truly present and treat each other like friends. It’s both personal and aesthetic and the small eats + wine make fit a memorable, luxury-feeling night without a huge cost.
