We usually go into the city to get our ribs, but a Google search revealed this establishment to us just in time. Upon arriving we were met with a warm welcome by the owners. After a brief conversation we ordered and went on our merry way (CHRISTmas Eve). The rest is history - the food was great and from now on this restaurant will be our go-to BBQ spot!
Stopped by today for first time and very happy that I did. I ordered the rib tips and they were phenomenal. Smoky delicious flavor. Just the right amount of fat with a bit of crispiness. Brushed lightly with a flavorful sauce. My only regret is ordering the smaller portion. I should have gotten the bigger one so I could take home and have a midnight snack. I'll be back.
Brisket was shredded instead of sliced, and Mac and cheese didn't appear to have many whole noodles. They forgot a couple items in our order and the prices are extravagant. ($39 for a single slab of ribs??)
But...service was quick, the collard greens were excellent, and the outdoor, smoky setting is wonderful on a beautiful day.
