Best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had! I got the chocolate hazelnut one, tasted just like Nutella. They had a few other vegan options, highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

I went in after work and being new in the area I had some menu questions and was probably too indecisive but fortunately I had a pair of amazing employees, Miguelina and Benie that answered each question patiently, offered me samples and had both the energy and the customer service skills to help me decide what to order. Emack & Bolio's must take care of their employees because on a late Sunday afternoon both Miguelina and Benie seemed happy to be there and happy to see everyone that walked in. I plan to go back soon and to make an Emack & Bolio's treat a regular prize for my own company's employee of the week winner. A nice find by Charlestown Navy Yard!

Had the worst customer service experience tonight at this establishment. The ice cream scooper misunderstood my order and proceeded to get aggressive with me about her mistake. I then decided to just take the messed up order and leave with ice cream I did not want. Also this place is extremely overpriced. Almost 20 bucks for 2 ice creams. Will not be returning here ever again. Left with a bad taste in my mouth both from the ice cream flavor I did not want and the ice cream server’s nasty attitude.

The woman had a terrible attitude, mean, impolite and touched the ice cream when scooping. They used to have a good looking Asian dude with a much better attitude, won’t come back again

We walked in to find not one single table cleaned off. Both trash cans were overflowing with trash while the young lady (dreads in her hair and 1.5” fake eyelashes) behind the counter was on her phone. We purchased our two ice creams and had to clear trash off a table to sit down to eat the ice creams. As it came time for us to leave, the employee was BACK ON HER PHONE behind the counter and we had to ask her to please empty the trash cans so we could have a place to throw our empty cups. She acted as it was a huge imposition for her to put her phone down and do her job! The $1.60 for a topping yielded about $.25 worth of sprinkling of nuts in top. We live across the street and have been wanting to try this place. We won’t be returning. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻 Sad, because the ice cream we OK

The ice cream was just ok. Barely a sprinkle of coconut for an extra charge topping. Tables were dirty and two trashes were overflowing and the girl at the counter couldn’t be bothered to get off her phone and take care of it. We will get ice cream elsewhere, even though this place is closest to home.
The two women who worked there had the biggest DGAF attitude and got my order wildly wrong because they didn't even care to listen to what I had asked for. Also, the place doesn't have any air conditioning and is hot as F in side. The ice cream was decent.

Careful. Make sure you have the time to devote to this place. There is one employee. Each shake, smoothie and scoop is made meticulously and slowly. If you are in a group of more than one, plan to be there for quite a while. It’s in a great location along the freedom walk. So plenty of time to rest while you wait. And wait. And wait.
