The restaurant is closed. Why do you accept orders for a closed restaurant? There was no indication that it was closed or that my order would not be sent.

Natalia Flores

Its fully closed. Beware on Open Table as you can still make reservations.

Placed an order through the website and received a message saying the order would be refunded because they are not currently accepting orders. Card was still charged and I have not received a refund.

Two weeks ago we ordered dinner online from Figs in Charlestown. When we arrived to pick it up we found a note on the door that Figs was closed for renovations. We were next notified by email that we'd receive a refund to our credit card. That hasn't happened. In the meanwhile we left two phone messages asking about the refund and haven't been called back. The restaurant's recorded phone message states the staff is busy helping other customers, giving a false impression that Figs is open when they're clearly not. So the phone message hasn't been updated, there's no indication when renovations may be completed, and they still have our money without delivering our order. Caveat emptor.

This business makes zero sense. You put in an order online and they don’t take it or answer the phone. What is wrong with the people running this place.Update: they also charged our credit card and we never received the order and they still won’t answer

This restaurant took our reservation. We took an uber, walk up (in the pouring rain), & it’s closed for renovations. Will never come to this restaurant.

Placed an order through chow now, received a confirmation order from the restaurant and then no tracking or follow up from there. Called the restaurant after an hour of waiting with no answer for over an hour. Clearly was closed and still accepting orders or a scheme to make money and not answer phones. What a joke!

Made a reservation today on open table for this evening. It was confirmed. When I arrived, the place was closed for renovations.

We were asked if we wanted bread,it never arrived. My girlfriends pasta arrived 10 minutes before my pizza. My pizza was so burnt I couldn't taste or even tell what was in it,it had ham spread over the top which was probably to hide the pizza.Pasta was nice and had to share. No reduction in the price or a free beer etc.Just said sorry.Very disappointing first night out in Boston.I'm not fussy but it was inedible.

I came here for the first time on a Friday evening, expecting to encounter a crowded “foodie” crowd. This restaurant has a legacy that made me wonder if I was in the right place. It was empty, other than drivers picking up pizzas. There was nothing positive about my experience here. Years ago you could not get a table here. I recently moved to Charlestown and was looking forward to this experience. A legacy chef could not possibly be behind this …What happened?

Good food but the restaurant needs an update.

We actually showed up and there was only a very large party there. No one else. The restaurant was completely empty otherwise. We looked around and all the other tables were filthy. We sat at the bar and saw a gross bug crawling on it and decided to leave. It was filthy. It wasn't even that the party there was loud, it was just gross inside.

Our pizza was burnt, so burnt it was bitter! We ordered a half and half pizza, half figs+prosciutto and the other 4 cheese. We also ordered the calamari, nothing special, can get the same calamari anywhere. Figs use to be good what happened?

Came as a family of four while staying the night with our boys down the street at the Marriott. Completely shocked that a place with Todd English's name on it could be such a disaster. There's clearly a lack of staff, management and oversight. Good/drinks are overpriced for what you get. $15 for a glass of Cabernet? Sangria offered on the menu was really just the bartender putting red, Prosecco, and ginger ale in a glass. Bolognese was delicious, but my husband's fig and prosciutto pizza was awful. Why would you just throw a large slice of cold deli meat on a pizza? Anywhere we've gone to get a similar kind of pizza, the prosciutto is chopped up and cooked with the pizza in the oven so it's crispy. Service was slow, zero ambiance, big disappointment. Save your money.

The service here is always slow even though I'm the place is always empty. they never pick up their phone, they're always out of utensils unless the workers are just too lazy to get it for you.
