Don’t come during lunch. I waited a few minutes for someone to even acknowledge me, then someone finally asked what I wanted then disappeared to the kitchen. I waited another 10-15 minutes for someone else to ask if I’ve been waiting. She seemed surprised that I was waiting. Really?? Also while I was waiting for the food she was on her phone the whole time. Was I waiting 10-15 mins because she was on her phone in the back?
Also, when I tried to order the lunch special, the menu behind the cash register says “a drink” but doesn’t specify. The cashier tried to charge me extra for a sparkling water. She said it was soda or bottle water only. I tried saying that the menu didn’t specify what drink. She then snidely repeated that it was soda or water. Very frustrating experience today. The only reason it’s not getting 1 star is because the pizza is good.

We got their lunch special and the pizza was delicious! It’s super thick so you probably won’t need as many slices as you think lol. The orange line pizza is great and so is the pepperoni. This is not just your average pepperoni pizza - there’s a special sauce that tastes awesome!

The small is perfect size for even one adult but you'll probably only be able to eat half/ so perfect leftovers movement in effect! Thank you for the service, recommendation and wonderful food. (1) I love Detroit style pizza. The extra thickness delivers well (2) the taste was great, right mix of sauce and cheese and the sauce was delicious

Pizza soggy, meatballs cold ..salad was OK so Johnny Pomodoro can handle lettuce. Very dissapointed as Charlestown resident
Johnny Pomodoro in Charlestown is the Rocket ! We moved here from Hingham Ma and were told about Jonny Pomodoro. When we arrived to Big Smiles from the Amazing Tavy Anna. The store is spotless, and all wearing clean uniforms. Can't wait to return.thanks again, PS the Chocolate Chip Cookie is wonderful.
