First time and it won't be the last for gluten-free pizzas. Tried pepperoni and their plain. Ordered eggplant, but they were out when I arrived to pick up. Will have to try next time!🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

A good American version of pizza found in the city of Rome. Or a scaled down version of a NYC type Sicilian pizza?

When this first opened, we really enjoyed the pizza and subs as well as the chicken tenders with barbecue and ranch sauce. The last couple of times we’ve gotten pizza its been way overcooked and burnt to the point where we can’t eat it and it’s difficult to try to give them another chance as it’s very hit or miss lately.

Came to an empty shop for a quick lunch: chicken parm sandwich (wanted an eggplant parm, but only eggplant pizza was available which is strange because ingredients in a restaurant are generally multi-dish). Service was as expected.

Sandwich was generally well built, good bread, good size ($18 may be a bit steep, but there was plenty of meat) , right amount of cheese and not too heavy on the sauce. Two unexpected negatives stood out: low salt and chicken was too cool for a sandwich.

The low salt is very unusual, I feel like the cheese was changed and sauce never adjusted (and I am not one of those eating a bag of chips before the sandwich).

Cool chicken (colder than what you would expect from a dense parm sandwich) after 5 minutes in a bag is very strange. Sauce was warmer.

Cheese slice was good but the dough felt raw and undercooked. The pepperoni slice was sweet - which made it repulsive and I couldn’t finish it. Honey, agave or whatever it is does not belong on pizza.

Shared this pie with someone that isn't GF and they had no clue. The crust was thick and crispy, but not heavy. As Portnoy would say a Detroit style has to be like an offensive lineman, look intimidating but shockingly light on its feet and this pizza is just that. Toppings were pretty loaded and the pulled chicken is a much appreciated touch over the typical chunks you get. It easily allowed every bite to have every topping. The edges were insane, with the crispy cheese acting as a glass shattering and delicious border to the pie. I will 100% be back to try their other pies cause damn this was next level

Mama Mia that's a good detroit style pizza (meatball and ricotta).

Succulent tray pizzas. Juicy, fresh, balanced. Pepperoni pizza and the mushroom pizza are spectacular. The honey on the pepperoni adds that extra something.

Kisha

Good flat pizzas. Good chicken Parmesan subs.

Johnny Pomodoro is a must-try! The chicken cutlets were crispy, flavorful, and a big hit with the kids too. I had the Caesar pizza, which was unique and absolutely delicious. And don’t skip the cookies! Great food all around!

I love Johnny Pomodoro; who doesn’t? Only complaint: Put more bolognese on the brick house! The other changes to the recipe, I don’t mind, but the amount of bolognese on the new recipe is criminal. Other than that, 5 stars.
