Appetizers were really good. Entrees not so much. Fried fish wasn't very good greasy, tartar sauce horrible
This is hands down the best chowder our group had the whole time we were in Boston. The bowl of chowder comes overflowing and is definitely a meal by itself. I want to go back to Boston just to eat here again!
I was a regular at Pier 6 for ten years since I live in the neighborhood. They have recently decided to only allow service dogs on their outdoor patio, after welcoming pets for the past few summers. I have no problem with the policy change, but their staff has decided to implement it by outright harassing people who show up with dogs. My friends and I were treated so rudely by four (4) different staff members, including one who behaved in an openly threatening manner, that I no longer feel comfortable here. Worse yet, I have attempted to resolve this matter privately with management and have been completely ignored. This is an ADA complaint waiting to happen (if it hasn’t already).
Delicious oysters, halibut was also fantastic.
Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!
Really good lobster rolls and espresso martini with mezcal. Overall, nice atmosphere and easy parking! The parking was great being that it's right in front of the restaurant. We sat upstairs and a little breeze was nice on the warm day. It provided a very chill environment. I was running late and called, found the hostess was accommodating. No complaints!
Good cocktails.
This is one of my very favorite places to eat. Not only is the food amazing (I love the crab cakes and tune tartare) but the views cannot be beat! The service is always amazing as well. This is a go to spot whenever I have people visiting from out of town. Plus the water taxi to the other restaurants is such a bonus!

Pier 6 is one of my partner and I’s favorite places to dine. Yesterday we had the pleasure to be served by Valentina. We usually like to ask our servers what their go to recommendations are- and let me tell you the drinks and food recommendations were spot on. She was so attentive and accommodating to our special requests. We Overall, highly recommend dining here and hope to have Valentina as our server again!
