Do yourself a favor - skip over the Boston restaurants and head straight here. I’ve been coming for years and the food never disappoints. The service is great. And there’s gluten free on Monday - what more could you want!? Fabulous.

I recently dined at Prima Italian Steakhouse, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and rustic Italian decor set the perfect tone. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family.

As for the food – wow! The ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a nice Italian twist that made it unique. We also tried the handmade pasta and some classic Italian sides, and each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The wine selection was extensive and featured many excellent Italian options that paired beautifully with the meal.

Just disappointed at the quality of the food. (I’m from Italy and aware that what I find here might not be like back home) but the price is just not worth it. The ambience is nice and romantic and they have a beautiful bar in the back. I might come back for a drink but won’t eat here again.

Totally blown away. The best Italian restaurant we have been to in Boston by far. Food was better than we could ever imagine, service was amazing, atmosphere is perfect. Could not recommend Prima more! If you’re in Boston, you have to go here.

We went on GF Monday —
The food was great, it’s tough to find GF options that are actually flavorful and well textured, this place was that all around!
Service from Kyree was amazing, he was super kind and upbeat and very attentive!
Thanks again!

Wants so bad to be a fine dining experience without actually being one. Dim lights do not equal quality. No reason to not give sides with entrees for the price, asparagus or potatoes cost next to nothing to make it a meal. Food is good, not great. Enjoyed it once but no reason to go back

So many authentic Italian restaurants in Boston. Some 50 + years old. Prima is not that. I’m OK with a new server, that is shadowed by more experienced server. I had a waiter that had no idea what he was doing. He had no idea how to open a bottle of wine. Had no idea about any of the dishes on the menu. He had trouble cutting our bread for the table. I felt bad for the guy.
The restaurant.. I ordered an old-fashioned. They served it with ice chips with no large ice cube.. Then the Caesar salad came out. It had about a gallon of dressing with so many other items on top nothing I have ever seen or wanted on a Cesar salad. Tuna Tatar was premade and kept in the fridge all day. It came out with a layer of some mayo sauce on top. We decided to pay for what was served and leave.
The manager did come and asked what the problem was. He did confirm the waiter was brand new. Then I asked him about the ice issue. He said they ran out of large ice cubes so they gave me ice chips. Then he was a little bit aggressive regarding the food items. However, he did tell us we did not need to pay and we left..

I went there for my friend’s birthday! I didn’t eat anything, but the restaurant has a nice ambiance and everyone who ate loved their food!

Cocktails and food were awesome, but what was really excellent was the service. They seemed to arrive at the exact moment we needed something and everything came out quickly.

Fantastic place, good wine list, good cocktails, good pasta. Note the whole menu is gluten free on Monday, so maybe order a steak if you're there on a Monday.
