We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant last night. The cioppino was magnificent. The shrimp dishes that two of our party had were also excellent. We enjoyed a couple of the desserts which were fine as well.

We always enjoy our meals at Viera, but tonight's meal still stood out. Scallops with spinach risotto! Scallops were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The spinach risotto was a nice surprise: just enough spinach to make the risotto's flavor stand out, but not so much that it was overpowering. We will plan to return again soon!

Our first visit to celebrate our anniversary. A warm congratulations greeting by the hostess and waiter were really nice. Seating is OK, not fabulous. Our meals, lamb shank and seafood ciopinno were terrific. The waiter had a great personality which is always a plus. We only had an entree and a drink. Portions were large and a dessert would have been too much. Would like to go back when we can sit outside. Enjoyable first experience.

We went for our anniversary. The food was amazing. I was a little skeptical at first but it's so much more than it claims to be. We had amazing service, everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

We were so grateful to Viera for our hosting our Rehearsal Dinner! The night was magical and that was because from the start of the process to the day of to the finish Viera truly committed themselves to ensuring we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their open and direct communication, their overall professionalism, and kindness. Alfred worked with us closely to make sure the day was special and that everything ran smoothly. We also greatly appreciated his suggestion of a small appetizer and cocktail hour to help get our guests mingling and settled before we began the plated meals. It was clear they were veterans!!
The atmosphere and food was superb! Our guests gushed to us about each course and we agreed! There were a wide array of options to choose from, and from the appetizers and cocktail course all the way through the dessert everything was worth writing home about! Juxtaposed with a beautiful maritime environment, including a real size ship’s wheel, we were transported, and it was an evening we know we will never forget.
All in all, Viera provided us with a warm, welcoming environment, with delicious food, and we’d be delighted to work with them again. We highly recommend them because we know they will make your day as special as ours. Thank you Viera!!!
Dietary restrictions: Importantly, they were extraordinarily accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that the needs of all our guests were met. Our group was large: 41 individuals. Of those individuals nearly a 3rd of them had a dietary restriction, and of note, many of those restrictions were not identical. This was a big stressor for us in preparing for our rehearsal dinner, but working with Viera, those worries dissipated immediately. They worked with us ahead of time looking at the menu and options to make sure that they were prepared and that each of our guests could appropriately be accommodated.

Tucked away on a little alley but accessible from Main Street and the town parking lot, Viera on Main is a place for many, seasonal outdoor dining with heaters, raw seafood bar, actually two great bars and tables with great unique menus, vegans in mind, and delicious local dishes. Shhhh. I want to keep it a secret. It's a great place to eat, have drinkies, or fabulous apps!

Really too noisy in the restaurant to have an enjoyable conversation with my family. We love Viera, but this time the food fell a little short. The salmon was fair—too well done. The pork belly was good, but could have been more interesting (the broccolini and potato/mushrom sides were delicious, if a little salty). Crab cakes were excellent! Service was charming and excellent, too—as ever. Maybe it was just a Friday night crowd—which we avoid all summer!

My wife and I chose Viera on Main to celebrate our anniversary and we loved every part of our meal. We started with oysters and Duck Spring Rolls. She ordered a Salted Caramel Martini and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. For entrees we ordered the Seared Sea Scallops and the Dukkah Spiced Tuna. The presentation was lovely and the taste of everything was perfect. The next time we visit Chatham, we will be sure to check out Viera on Main again.
