Amazing ice cream, my family comes here every day for a week when we visit. The owner is very nice. This place is very close to my heart - I was named after the sign hanging up inside! I think most of the 1 star reviews are user error. Definitely worth a visit!

Quaint little ice cream parlor serving since 1991. Ice cream is delicious, portions big and prices are reasonable (for the Cape).
Some nice historical information inside on prior as a school house including small desks. Free jukebox with oldie songs and some.

Short n Sweet is a no frills joint that serves Richardson’s ice cream. Always pleased with whatever I order! There is a good amount of parking. Some inside seating and a handful of picnic tables out front. Not as busy as some other nearby ice cream places. Definitely recommend for your next ice cream fix!

I went inside and the decor is absolutely adorable and the workers are so nice and patient. We had a great conversation about the history and the decor is really cute. They have a couple flags and they even ordered my countries flag when I mentioned they didn’t have it 10 out of 10. The owner is super nice and the ice cream quality was really good and that means a lot coming for me because I don’t like a lot of ice cream. I highly recommend the Kahlúa coffee flavor and black raspberry. It is cash only, but they thankfully have the convenience of an ATM inside.
