This was second time in. The first I received two seriously overpriced burritos ($20+ each) for my dad and I. They were tiny and bland. I decided to give it a second go, I waited 30+ minutes for a bowl with rice and meat. 20+ bucks again, arguably the smallest bowl of my life, the rice was bland and the meat was… fine.

I rarely ever leave negative reviews but it’s time to step up here. Mexican (of this kind) should be loaded with flavor, substantial, cheap, and reasonably quick. It’s sadly the inverse in my experience here. The help and atmosphere was nice though. I’ll try again in a year.

Food and service are excellent! I highly recommend stopping to get tacos every night.

Was walking around Chatham and couldn’t find anything to accommodate our large group. We walked in here, and everyone had food with in 15 minutes. Very authentic tasting and really good! Couldn’t have picked a better spot for lunch. Big portions as well!!

This place is AWESOME. We were excited to see a new fast casual place in Chatham. My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night after spending most of the afternoon in summer traffic. We wanted something lighter and quick, and we were excited to try the new spot. We both ordered salads- I ordered the taco salad and my husband the bbq shrimp caesar. We also ordered nachos. First the food came out in about 10minutes. The portions were huge for salads with generous and delicious ground beef and shrimp. The flavors- impeccable! My taco salad had the perfect balance of beef, onion, beans, corn, and cheese. It was so good I went back for takeout the following week. The nachos- yum! The chips are great. The homemade queso to crema ratio was impeccable. We ended up taking half of everything home and added some churros for later too. Our drinks were good and came fast as well. Check out CODO, you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant was incredible - had the crispy ground beef burrito and it was delicious - it also tastes like the cooks use seasonings.

this place has horrid food. off color guac out of a bag. Never again!

Edit: just for Vanya, thanks for responding. That is greatly appreciated,. I am doing okay, I only had a few bites and then tossed it so there shouldn't be any adverse effects, but I will absolutely keep you posted! I mean, when your other outlet is Pate's not that much can be expected so it's really on me!

Went yesterday for lunch. My husband and I both had delicious meals. My son who has celiac ate tacos with chicken on corn tortillas and had guacomole and loved it. We had great cocktails and service. Will definitely return.

Nice interior for this new restaurant in Chatham. The food was average and expensive. The nachos did not have melted cheese, it was cheese? Squirted from a bottle . The ground beef was cold and tasteless. The Burrito was also missing taste and real cheese. The Margarita was VERY sour but I guess some people like a very sour Margarita.

Codo really is a gem!🌮 The crispy Brussels sprouts were cooked just right, nicely charred and full of flavor. The Cod Classic tacos were fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying without trying too hard. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. For sure a place I’ll return to. 🌯

Went for lunch and a couple of cocktails on a Saturday afternoon. We sat outside, but service was still friendly and attentive. For food, we ordered the shrimp quesadilla and fried cod tacos. The shrimp quesadilla was massive. The shrimp was well cooked and the tortilla was a perfect mix of soft and charred. The cod tacos were good. I was hoping for more cod for the price. The cod was perfectly crispy, there just wasn't enough of it and the balance with everything else was just a little off. The cocktails were solid - I had the Old Poncho, which was solid (though $18 is steep for a cocktail!), and a prickly pear margarita, which was very good, but maybe a touch too sweet. My wife enjoyed her Peruvian spritz. The kitchen and servers did a great job of getting cocktails and food to the table in a timely manner

Had a chance to try Codo last week and sat outside. We ordered the chips with various dips (queso, salsa, quac) which were great. I ordered the carnitas tacos which were also quite good. The service was prompt and our waitress was attentive. The only thing was my margarita was mostly ice with not a lot of liquid....for ~$17 I did not get my money's worth! Also not asked if I wanted a salter rim or not. I'm so happy for a local Mexican restaurant that I will try it again!

OK!!!! STELLAR AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD has arrived in Chatham Massachusetts! First, this is not average. Off the chart flavor! We had the barbecue shrimp street tacos. WOW! Are you kidding?!! This is 10 star cuisine! The Brussel Sprouts are next level with a lot of punch of fire on top of savory sweet! This location is perfectly set just before you get to Chatham central, making those last minute evening meal lookers able to find an incredible meal, people who want real Mexican food and those coming off the beach able to dive into a meal fit to close the day. WELL DONE CODO Mexican Kitchen!
