Went on a Monday night having never been in the area and it was packed but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Reservation highly recommended. The service was terrific for being so busy, water glasses filled before half empty, wait staff didn't miss option to update on your order. Now to the food. Everything I ordered was some of the best plates I had the oysters Rockefeller 10 out of 10 and the pork chop was the best I ever had. My wife had the bolognese linguine and the pasta tastes homemade and the serving size was perfect. I also thought the cocktail prices were very reasonably priced

Del Mar Bistro in Chatham, MA, is an absolute gem that left an unforgettable impression on me. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

The food at Del Mar Bistro is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is a delightful fusion of flavors, showcasing the freshest local ingredients. Whether you’re indulging in their seafood specialties or savoring a perfectly cooked steak, every bite is a testament to the culinary craftsmanship of the kitchen. The presentation is equally impressive, making the dining experience not only delicious but visually appealing as well.

The service truly elevates the experience. Joseph, the manager, is a standout with his exceptional hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine passion for ensuring every guest feels welcome creates a relaxed yet refined dining atmosphere. He is always on hand to provide recommendations and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Makenzie, the personable hostess, adds a special touch to the experience. Her friendly demeanor and charm make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. She is attentive and quick to accommodate any requests, making the entire visit enjoyable.

Lastly, a shoutout to Jeremiah, the barkeep, whose skillful mixology is not to be missed. His cocktails are expertly crafted and perfectly complement the meal, adding another layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Overall, Del Mar Bistro is a must-visit for anyone in Chatham. With exceptional food, a dedicated team, and a cozy atmosphere, it’s a place where you can truly enjoy a memorable meal. I can’t wait to return!

This is the best restaurant in Chatham; currently and for a while now. I have been about twenty times in the last few years and each time they are able to deliver on great cocktails, delicious food, good service, and a warm atmosphere. I would recommend anyone passing through town to stop in. The drinks really are a highlight if you like a well made cocktail; they can also make a very good dry martini which is way less common than it should be. Things I like to order include the mushroom tart (app), oysters rock (app), braised short rib (this may be seasonal), portuguese little necks, and the swordfish! I also like their pizzas; if I'm in the mood I will usually get the fig one or the sausage one and they're excellent. They used to have this amazing (imho) cocktail called the Driftwood but I think they've since moved on. Overall, very hard to go wrong with a dinner reservation here.

Every seafood dish we ordered was prepared to perfection. I had the best swordfish I’ve ever had and I’m from Maine. Call them for reservations since their online system is not so good.

My wife and I were visiting Chatham for a bit and made a last-minute decision to try this place out. We usually look at a lot of reviews before deciding on what to eat, so we had zero expectations on this one.

To our surprise, the food was excellent and fresh. The staff were super attentive and friendly. I would definitely return in the future, if I'm passing by Chatham.

Excellent place to have a gathering, we were a size of 8 and they accommodated us just fine. Service was impeccable, drinks/water were never empty long and Emily was a pleasure! For the food, the group found it outstanding. Most had the filet mignon and were impressed with the size and taste of the meat. I had the blue fin tuna with Chinese 5-Chinese spices. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. I took one bite and tasted Xmas, hehehe. It has nutmeg. Emily asked if they could replace it with anything else and I didn't want her to worry about it but I was able to enjoy espresso over vanilla gelato. She took it off our bill. Just an overall good experience

Went here on a very rainy June weeknight. The restaurant had lost power earlier so ended up having room when we walked in. Wine was good, two different pizzas were tasty and carrot cake was on point. Friendly and attentive service. Recommend to book in advance!
