My wife and I came here while on our honeymoon in May of 24 from Michigan. We were blown away by the cocktails, crab cakes, burger, and most importantly the staff. We sat at the bar and talked with the owner all night and got the full story of how Drifters came to be. Incredible experience - We even bought a hoodie on the way out! We are coming back in June and this will be our first stop. We cannot recommend Drifters enough. Best food in Chatham.

The decor is charming, blending coastal vibes with a cozy, laid-back feel. The food was incredible – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. From the seafood dishes to the cocktails, every bite and sip was a delight. The staff was attentive and friendly, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Drifters is a must-visit spot in Chatham. Can’t wait to return! Five stars all the way!

Everything we ordered we LOVED! The cocktails were delicious and well balanced. The carbonara was perfection! The crispy gnocchi was creative and scrumptious! Our food came out within 10 minutes on the order. Such a special little place with lovely, friendly servers and great food!

My wife and I are staying in Chatham and after a long day we were looking for a late night meal. Now let me clarify by “late night” I mean it was 8:45pm. We first went to the Chatham Squire and arrived around 8:50pm and were told the main dining was closed but we could sit at the bar. We asked if the kitchen was open and she said for another 10mins but it’s an hour wait for food. So we walked to another two locations in Chatham and all kitchens seemed to be closed at 9pm. Until we went to one place that recommended Drifters since their kitchen was known for being open until 10:30pm.
So we ventured the 15min drive to Drifters and couldn’t be more satisfied! They were welcoming and happy to see us and they said their regular menu is until 9:30pm and then it’s their late night menu which consists of apps until 10:30pm. So if you’re in Chatham and looking for a late night meal, come to Drifters. Good quality fresh food and very good service.
This spot was amazing. the cocktails were on point, the competition-winning chowder was fantastic, and the burger and fish & chips were some of the best i’ve had. our server was the owner, Dylan, who was so warm and friendly. will definitely be back!

Excellent food! We were a little skeptical as when we arrived the place was pretty empty (@ 6:30p) - but we knew the reviews had been good. EVERYTHING eaxh of us had waa outstanding along with great service.
Vegetarian options: Crispy Gnocchi and Le Jardin were outstanding. Other options that we did not get but sounded good: white bean crostini and brussel sprout salad
